Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. They offer over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences.

For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to trash snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.

Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.

This is a review of the specialized "Flapjack Box" which contains only flapjacks - a special snack made by Graze!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Original Fruity Flapjack

This could be considered one of the healthier flapjacks of the bunch - but it's definitely not lacking for taste. A flapjack's base is rolled oats - with goodies added on. In this case, the rolled oats are combined with dried apricot, vine fruits & seeds. I love the pop of taste from the apricot!

Apple & Cinnamon Flapjack

These are as good as they sound. It's like eating applejacks in bar form - delicious.

Honeycomb Flapjack

This time, the rolled oats are combined with honeycomb and a chocolate drizzle. The drizzle is so little that all I can really taste is the honey, which isn't an issue for me but seemed worth noting.

Pumpkin Spice Flapjack

I'm in the minority on this one - I don't really like anything pumpkin except for my mother-in-law's pumpkin pie. This is certainly packed with a pumpkin spice taste, though.

Cocoa & Vanilla Protein Flapjack

This might be my favorite of the bunch - and one that I have never tried before! Essentially, these taste like cocoa puffs in milk to me - delicious!

Summer Berry Flapjack

These rolled oats are combined with "berry-infused cranberries". While I don't know what that means, I can confirm that it's yummy.

Original Protein Flapjack

This flapjack is loaded with seeds for protein. Inside, you'll find flax, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds. Since I'm not really a fan or sunflower or pumpkin seeds, this wasn't one that I'd choose on my own - but it was still pretty tasty, considering.

Lemon Drizzle Flapjack

Incredibly zesty is the best way to describe this one. If you love lemon - you'll want to give these a try as they just pop with flavor. The lemon is unmistakable even as you simply open the package.

Verdict: I love flapjacks, but I think this might have been a little bit of a flapjack overload for me - I kind of missed the variations of other items in the box. That came as a bit of a surprise to myself, too. But, if you love flapjacks like I do, it's worth getting this at least once to test out all of the different variations of rolled oats that they're making.

I’ve enjoyed almost everything I’ve received from Graze. Not sure what to think about the best by dates though. My most recent order has snacks with a best by date 7 days out from the date the box was delivered. (This was on a mix of nuts & dried fruits.) A couple of others have best by dates less than 2 weeks out from the date of delivery. The furthest date out in this order is less than 5 weeks. (I’m seeing this both in the Graze Shop and Graze subscription boxes.)

I cannot believe I am saying this, but I’d like a longer life? I’m not sure why nuts, chocolates, and dehydrated fruit & veg have such a short life? I kind of understand a shorter life on the flapjacks. Have others noticed quick best by dates on their snacks?

I have been getting graze for a few months now and I am a fan of the flapjacks too. Sometimes I skip my normal delivery in favor of ordering several six packs to have on hand. Usually that includes at least one of the Original Fruity Flapjacks and one other type of my son’s choosing. Then a dipper like the blueberry toasts and white chocolate and then maybe a sharing bag or two. So far we haven’t met a flapjack we didn’t like 🙂

I ordered a free box of Graze after seeing an ad in a magazine (before I knew about subscription boxes in general). I’m not one to pass up free food 😉 Figured I’d try a few boxes then quit. That was 20 months ago, and I’ve always got to have some Graze in the house, whether from regular boxes or sharing bags or six packs of exactly what I want from their shop. I especially love their goodies when the weather’s cool enough to ship chocolate! Along with flapjacks, my favorites are their “deconstructed” or “reimagined” versions of desserts like Elanor’s Apple Crumble, Jelly Doughnut, and Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake.

You had me at “zesty.” Just ordered the Flapjack box. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed these.

I just started this sub in December, and I must admit that when I first received the Original Fruity Flapjack, my first thought was, “Mehhh.” But then I tried them… and they were delicious! I wish I had one right now…

Yea – I really didn’t know what to expect when getting one for the first time either. If you like that one, I definitely suggest the Summer Berry Flapjack.
