Arcade Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon – December 2016

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. If you buy something, MSA may earn a commission. Read the full disclosure.

Arcade Block is a subscription box from Nerd Block. It’s all gamer themed items, plus a shirt.

Please Note: This is changing to Gamer Block – it will feature a version rated E for everyone, and M for mature audiences only – so this is the last review of the old Arcade Block format!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Arcade Block

The Cost: $19.99 plus shipping ($9.50 shipping to the US)

COUPON: Use coupon code NERDADDICTION to save 17% off the first month of any Nerd Block subscription

The Products: Gamer gear, collectibles, etc, plus a new t-shirt each month.

Ships to: Worldwide!

Arcade Block doesn’t theme their boxes. But, you’ll typically know at least 3 of the franchises featured before your box ships.

Each delivery includes an information card detailing the items inside.

You’ll also get a $10 voucher to the Ned Block store. Mine is free to the first use to redeem it!

Overwatch Shirt – Value $15?

This month’s exclusive shirt features a TON of Overwatch characters.

Mega Man Robot Master Field Guide – Value $13.99

This is an exclusive variant cover of the Field Guide.

This really brings me back to the old days of going to the store to buy a strategy guide for a video game that I couldn’t beat! Very fun for any Mega Man fun, even if it’s just for nostalgia.

Gameboy Flashlight Keychain – Value $10?

This exclusive item is a soft little Game Boy keychain light.

It’s got the design print all the way around the keychain.

Press down to get your light!

Assassin’s Creed Plush – Value $10-15?

This little Bleacher Creature is exclusive to Arcade Block.

Your assassin even has a removable hood.

Zelda Glass Candle Holder – Value $15-20?

The big item of the month is an exclusive glass candle holder featuring Link from Zelda.

I like the look of the stained glass window design. You might need this to light a lucky candle if you’re trying to get a Nintendo Switch this year!

Verdict: I like that 3 of the 5 items featured a classic gaming series – I tend to like that more than the new titles, but that might be because it’s what I grew up on. I’m excited to see what happens when they split this subscription into a Mature version and E for Everyone version – I can’t wait to see what they might include in the mature version!

What do you think of December’s Arcade Block?

  1. Bummer, no longer ArcadeBlock. Had one of their boxes left, kept because of the NES style, but something spilt on it and wanted to order another to replace it, oh well now.

  2. I love the keychain and the candle holder! I dream of a quarterly Zeldablock from Nerdblock. I would be all over that.
