Arcade Block
3.5 overall rating
25 Ratings | 9 Reviews

Arcade Block is a subscription box from Nerd Block. It’s all gamer themed items, plus a shirt.

Please Note: This is changing to Gamer Block - it will feature a version rated E for everyone, and M for mature audiences only - so this is the last review of the old Arcade Block format!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Arcade Block doesn't theme their boxes. But, you'll typically know at least 3 of the franchises featured before your box ships.

This really brings me back to the old days of going to the store to buy a strategy guide for a video game that I couldn't beat! Very fun for any Mega Man fun, even if it's just for nostalgia.

I like the look of the stained glass window design. You might need this to light a lucky candle if you're trying to get a Nintendo Switch this year!

Verdict: I like that 3 of the 5 items featured a classic gaming series - I tend to like that more than the new titles, but that might be because it's what I grew up on. I'm excited to see what happens when they split this subscription into a Mature version and E for Everyone version - I can't wait to see what they might include in the mature version!

Bummer, no longer ArcadeBlock. Had one of their boxes left, kept because of the NES style, but something spilt on it and wanted to order another to replace it, oh well now.

I love the keychain and the candle holder! I dream of a quarterly Zeldablock from Nerdblock. I would be all over that.
