The theme this month is “The Great Escape.”

The Menswear Club always sends a postcard with information about the items and the value of the box; I really find this helpful, especially when some of the items are non-branded.

Curated Basics Camo Dopp Kit – Value $35.00

I love it when the first item in the box is valued higher than the cost of the box! It’s like everything else is thrown in for free! The parcel this month came shipped in this bag, instead of the standard drawer style box.

Here’s a peek at the inside of the bag…it’s very well made out of canvas duck fabric, and it’s a really nice size. It’s about 9 inches wide by 6 inches tall.

Something Strong – Skinny Camo Tie – Listed Value $29.99

The info card indicated this as a tie from Skinny Tie Madness but the tie is branded (and tagged) from Something Strong. I did find a similar tie on Skinny Tie Madness’ site though. The Menswear Club valued this tie at $29.99, so that’s what I went with (but if you want something similar, check out the link to Skinny Tie Madness…it’s 1/3 of the price!). Either way, this is a nice tie made from 100% cotton. I do like the fact that the camo is black toned, I think it will go with much more than the standard green. It’s certainly not going to be everyone’s style, but I think most people can pull off this look every now and again!

The Menswear Club Gold Glasses Tie Clip – Listed Value $35.00

This is an exclusive for the box but I found several similar clips around the web. I think the assigned $35.00 is a bit high for this item – The Tie Bar has one for $15.00 and eBay has them for even less. Either way, It is a cute kitsch item to throw in the box. I don’t really think it goes with the rest of the theme, though, so it feels a bit like a last minute addition.

Mojja Moustache Yellow Movember Socks – Value approximately $9.83 USD

These socks are so bright – they’ll definitely make a statement when you’re wearing them. They are made with cotton, polyester, spandex, and rubber (??). I can’t say I’ve ever seen rubber as a fiber content before. The socks feel great on (according to my husband) and they hold their shape well.

Manly Moose Soap Co. Citrus Birch Soap – Listed Value $7.00

Manly Moose Soap Co. is based out of British Columbia. This soap smells amazing and it’s so pretty. The top of the soap looks like quartz. With the coconut oil base, this soap is very moisturizing – quite different than your regular, run of the mill bar soap!

Verdict: This parcel from The Menswear Club was pretty good. I did think that the glasses tie clip was a bit overvalued and out of place, but outside of that, The Menswear Club stuck to the theme quite well. All of the items were high quality and most would also work as a re-gift this holiday season.

What did you think of this month’s The Menswear Club parcel?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
