POPSUGAR Must Have Box December 2016 Spoiler Themes!

ok, I’ve been trying to be patient with Popsugar, and not come here hash out my issues, but I’ve been getting nowhere with Popsugar customer service and I am at my wits end.

Here is the problem:

I took advantage of the incredible MSA 3month deal. I didn’t want to forget to cancel before the sub renewed, so I canceled to just have the three credits sitting on the account. Then a few days later, Popsugar did the Black Friday deal, I didn’t realize I couldn’t “upgrade” my canceled MSA account, so I purchased a new sub, and bought the 6 month deal twice to give me a total of 12 credits. I emailed Popsugar to see if they could combine two subs to give me a total of 15 credits. Instead of telling me no, that I couldn’t combine, they decided to cancel the one sub telling me I could repurchase the 3 month sub. OK, great no problem. When I went to do this, I see they canceled my 12 month sub!!!! and now the deal is over. So now I still have the 3 month sub that cannot be upgraded, and they canceled the upgrade-ble account.

I have been going back and forth with their customer service now since Nov 25th. What have they offered me? A code that doesn’t work, to purchase (1) 6 month sub, oh and I can pay to return any duplicate boxes.

This is beyond unacceptable. I’ve tried reaching out to other customer service reps, I’ve asked for anyone to call me so we could get it worked out, I would even accept the duplicate boxes for three months if it came down to it, but it is NOT OK to cancel my accounts that I didn’t want canceled and basically tell me too bad!!!

Liz – do you have any inside contacts that I may reach out to? I’ve spent so much money with them in the past month, and I just want the subs to be reactivated for the price I originally paid. Again, I don’t mean to bring this to a public forum, but I don’t know what else to do 🙁

They did the old switcheroony on me too. I received shipping notices for LE and Dec box and first said Monday today, then switched to Saturday. Darn, why couldn’t it be a weekday when my husband’s at work.

I can’t wait to see the throw.

I ordered the limited edition men’s box for my husband from Santa, and then I just had to order the limited edition women’s box for myself, from Santa 🙂 excited!!!

i have actually been looking for a ring holder and dresser tray to set my perfumes on so this is perfect! So glad I took the deal!

Do you know if the ring dish and tray can be used for food? I did see that they could be used for ‘bar accessories’, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the glazes are non-toxic. Thank you for being available to answer questions. I love your site and all of the great info you share.

My box was shipped yesterday, scheduled for arrival next Thursday– 4.3 pounds!

Even though we all know that these theme words are pretty much meaningless, I’m kind of excited by then anyway. I like a minimalist style. Festive hopefully means something sparkly/fun. Giving may be useful. And I’m hoping snowy means the color white (or maybe fluffy?) since I live in FL and snowy weather doesn’t apply to me.

Or maybe I just like the picture.

I think the tray will be pretty useful for me. I am wondering though – are they white or more of an off-white?

I don’t like the dish set, so I really hope I love the “Giving/Snowy/Festive” items. Can’t think of any of my friends/fam who would appreciate the dish set as a gift this year, either. Womp-womp. Hope my first experience with PS isn’t a bust!

There’s something cracking me up about “minimalist” as a theme. Isn’t the point of the box to send out stuff? Lol.

Are all the items pictured in the December box, or just the trays? I see Trust Fund Beauty lipstick, Luxie brushes, what looks like a Cargo blusher and a couple other items…

I should be receiving my December box next Friday !

I can’t wait to get this box. It shipped a couple days go and should be here next week. I absolutely love the ring dish and catchall and have so many things i can use it for.

Oh that stinks that the code doesn’t work. I was def going to pull the trigger since I also missed out on Black Friday deal.

Not terribly interested in either of those pieces (and not sure I have anyone to gift them to even), but the Black Friday deal was too good to pass up. Fingers crossed for the rest of the box!!
