Moustache Stationery always includes an info card with details on what the box theme is, along with a list of the items in the box. This month the theme is "Metallic Holidays: Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but what we give."

Haute Papier Large Silver Waves Notebook - Value $2.00

Haute Papier Large Silver Geometric Notebook - Value $2.00

These are gorgeous. The metallic foil really pops and they are so decorative for notebooks! I love them and think that they are perfect for keeping and using this holiday season, or perfect for gifting!

Here's the inside of the notebook - they are both blank inside.

moustache-stationery-november-2016-scissors

Haute Papier Gold Scissors - Value $20.00

I've never owned such a nice pair of scissors before - these are nicely weighted, cut perfectly, and so pretty! I love them...at first, I thought they might match my other gold desk accessories from Moustache Stationery, but these are more of a yellow gold. Still, I love them and these are, hands down, my favorite item in the box!

Golden Tribal Foil Coaster Set - Reyn Paper Co. - Value $14.00

These coasters are perfect for entertaining this season. Gold is such a staple in holiday decor, that I am willing to bet that these would go perfectly with any decor! The print is super fun as well.

Moustache Stamp by Stampabilities - Value $1.98

This little stamp is super cute. Unfortunately, I don't have any ink pads to test it out for you with, but it looks like it is a nice quality rubber stamp!

moustache-stationery-november-2016-washi-tape

The Paper Studio Gold Patterned Washi Tape - Value $2.50

Gold is one of my favorite metallics and one that I always use to wrap presents with around Christmas time! This washi tape is going to be perfect for that. The only odd thing is that the striped roll has quite a bit more tape than the polka dot roll...it almost looked like it had been used. But that's a small thing, and I'll still use it!

Verdict: This month was one of my favorite Moustache Stationery shipments ever. I loved all of the metallic products and the scissors are something that I will reach for, for years to come! I also loved that they included items that you could either gift or use during the holiday season: scissors for wrapping, tape for wrapping, coasters for entertaining, etc. The little bonus candy that matched the theme was great as well. The value of this box is $42.48, which is a few dollars over the cost of the box, but taking into account that a few items are on sale. This month is a win for me!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

WARNING – Don’t bother. I ordered with them Nov 21st, paid/signed up. I have never received a box. Never heard from them again. I threw the 39.99 USD plus shipping in Canada out the window. This is my second box from mysubscriptionaddiction, I won’t be doing another one.

I think this may be a common ‘real world’ experience as it seems the only ‘regular’ reviews are people who have received the box via mysubscriptionaddiction. Sure they make sure to show the great stuff – but what you get DOESN’T measure up.

Okay, I could handle that my November or December box never arrived. But I have now contacted them via email, FB page, Site chat, and filed no less than 5 customer service tickets. I have not received a single reply OTHER than the automatic ‘we received your request’. Oh, starting Dec 21, I started to get daily warning emails that my subscription is in danger of expiring (my credit card expiration date has changed) and that I better make sure I pay up. Total waste of time. Total scam as far as I am concerned.

Any idea what is going on with this subscription? When I go to their page it says “Subscribe for September Now” and wants to charge me $7/box shipping. Cratejoy is also adding on the shipping, so you need to recheck what you have above. .

On their Facebook page people have been complaining about not getting boxes, and there is supposedly new owners taking over the company and they are in transition. I dunno, I stopped subscribing when my September box didn’t arrive until mid-October and then it was missing an item :/ The old owner was very nice and communicative about the late boxes and sent my missing item, but still.
