This is a review of the Sweets and Sours mixed surprised box.
Albanese White Strawberry-Banana Gummi Bears
These little gummy bears had a pina colada taste to me - I tasted some, but quickly passed them along as they weren't my favorite. Liz, however, loved them!
Sweet's Sour Stars
There was a second gummy candy this month! The Sweet's stars were noted as sour, so I left them to be first tested by the people who love sour candy (definitely, not me). Luckily for me, these aren't really sour at all - lots of flavor and not much sour puckering - these were my surprise favorite this month.
Lucky Country Strawberry Licorice
The last cup of candy held a strawberry licorice. The licorice itself wasn't too hard or too soft, but a good amount of chewy. And you can definitely pick out that it's a strawberry flavor! This is actually the only candy to have some left over - so I think it was no one's favorite of the month.
Goetze's Chocolate Caramel Creams
The loose candy was a soft and chewy chocolate candy. While these are labeled as caramel, I really didn't get any caramel flavors from them, so it must be very subtle. The candy itself is rich and delicious with a very soft center - a very close contender for my favorite of the month.
Verdict: We've only been getting Candy Club to our house for 3-4 months now, but it's always one that everyone looks forward to getting! It could be pricey for candy, but if you're not close to shop where you could pick up these brands, this is a good option. I've liked both trying new candies and being reminded of candy that I had loved in the past - so I've been having fun with this one!
