trendy-memo-october-2016-spray-info

Study Buddy-Aromatherapy Spray - Value $18.00

This is an energizing aromatherapy spray with essentials oils and a natural alternative for a mid-day pick-me-up. The mist consists of peppermint good for easing nausea, rosemary for soothing digestive issues and memory improvements, and lemon for increased alertness and concentration. I sprayed the mist into my hands and cupped over my face, as directed and breathed deeply. The peppermint overpowered the other oils with a hint of lemon surfacing. Make sure to shake well before using the mist.

Princess Cut Push Pins /Thumb Tacks - Value $7.50

These cute crystal square push pins will be used for my cork board in my entry way. The square crystal will give my cork board some bling.

Ballpoint Pen - Value $3.00?

This is a much-needed item to add to my desk accessories. This is one item that won’t get lost in my desk drawer with the added crystals encased in the pen. This embellishment on the pen will stand out amongst my other desk accessories.

trendy-memo-october-2016-lotion

Pumpkin Spice Body Lotion, 2oz - Value $4.00

Anyone who knows me knows I love pumpkin and enjoy products that have pumpkin or the actual aroma of pumpkin in the product. I was happy to see this in the box! This smells of pumpkin spice and is thick in consistency and creamy with an aroma that lingered for a short while after applying. The body lotion is so thick it was difficult to get the product out of the bottle. Also, it left my skin moisturized and soft.

trendy-memo-october-2016-cookie

Quinoa Choco-Chip-Go Paks - Value $1.00

These bite size cookies are crunchy with a sprinkle of chocolate chips. I have tried Goodie Girl Cookies before thanks to various subscription boxes and as always, I enjoy receiving them. There are no artificial flavoring, are gluten-free and produced in a facility free of nuts.

#goals notepad - Value $12.00

This bright blue 4"x6" notepad includes a gold hologram foil with “# goals”inscribed. It will brighten my desk.

Greeting Cards - Value $6?

These assorted cards are designed by Trendy Memo (their web address is engraved on the back of each card, so I’m guessing it was their design). There are three different sayings: “Thank You”, “Hello” and “Happy Birthday” and are blank inside. These cards are simple with different lettering on the front and the inside is large enough space for me to write as much as I want.

Gold Metal Binder Clips- Value $6?

The packaging these clips came in is cute. I love the cheetah print and I will be recycling this packaging. These six gold metal binder clips are perfect for sorting and keeping my subscription box information cards in place. I received three small binder clips and three large binder clips.

Micro-Dermabrasion5mL sample - Value $0.64

This is intended for a brighter, refined complexion and to smooth away rough spots. I love facial scrubs and this was not too gritty and made for a gentle exfoliation. I wasn’t able to see lasting results with this sample size but I did like how it was gentle on my skin and left it clean.

trendy-memo-october-2016-frame

Picture Frame - (Frame only) Value $5.00?

This was a gift with their re-brand and all subscribers received the picture frame. The frame came in two pieces. I twisted the frame into the base and peeled off the plastic covering and enclosed a postcard I received from a friend into the frame. The plastic frame is sturdy and I like the design of the base - it's a different design from my usual frames I own. It will fit in nicely on my desk!

trendy-memo-october-2016-bonus

Given I paid $0.01 more for my previous subscription before their new pricing structure and re-brand, Trendy Memo asked subscribers if they wanted a refund of $0.01, throw in extra goodies or send another Summer box for free. This was a nice gesture from a small business. I chose the extra goodies which included:

Magnets - Value $3.00?

These 3 circular magnets are a simple design and will be used on my fridge.

Paperclips - Value $1.99?

I have standard paper clips in my desk drawer and I’m loving these teardrop clips in black, silver, gold and copper. These will replace my standard paperclips.

Kiss Me Honey Lip Balm - Value $4.99

I received this lip balm in my August Satva box and I’m happy to receive more. It’s moisturizing without the waxy residue.

Dry Erase Marker - Value $1.60?

I don’t own a dry erase board, but I can use it on the magnets.

Verdict: The Trendy Memo box for Fall has a value of $63.14 that does not include the extra goodies. I am pleased with this box more so than the summer box. I think this box has more items geared towards my desk/workspace with a few extras like the body lotion and cookies, that are a hit. I appreciate a subscription box company that values their customers to ensure their business strives and Trendy Memo is off to a good start.

Please do not spray essentials oils in the air if you have cats. Many essentials oils are toxic to kitties. I’m not sure about dogs or other pets.

Most EO are safe for dogs. I have furbabies and I use oils on them.
