Loot Crate South Park Limited Edition Crate Review!
Before you read any further – there are some NSFW items in the box because, well, it’s South Park!
Loot Crate added to its Limited Edition crate lineup with the latest addition – the South Park 20th Anniversary Crate. I can clearly remember sneaking over to a friends house to watch the first 3-4 episodes he had recorded on VHS – I can’t believe it’s now in the 20th season – and still absolutely hilarious!
These are still available if you’re interested in getting one!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Loot Crate set out to send South Park fans 8 exclusive collectibles featuring characters and moments from its 20-year run.
Like any crate, it comes with an information card.
Inside, you’ll find all of the info about the items in the box.
On the reverse side, you get a classic look at South Park!
The box itself inverts into the South Park school bus.
They even include stickers if you want to complete the scene!
This was just a blast from front to back!
OK – on to the items!
Again, some items are NSFW!
South Park 20th Season Coin – Value ?
The first item is a commemorative South Park coin. It’s made to look like a coin you might see during the ceremonial coin flip in a Super Bowl.
Loot Crates always come with a pin – and this one featured a classic Randy Marsh moment from Season 14.
It’s actually two separate pieces. If you remember the episode, and I don’t know how you could forget it, it was one of the more talked about episodes of that season.
Kenny/Mysterion Reversible Hoodie – Value $35+?
One of two hero items in the box was a Kenny hoodie! I had my fingers crossed that we’d be getting a Kenny hoodie – so I was ecstatic to try it on!
The hoodie is really comfortable. I’d consider that a really high-quality feeling hoodie as well. It’s a 60/40 Cotton /Polyester blend – since it’s reversible, it doesn’t have a lining, but it’s actually very warm – easily wearable for cold weather.
Don’t forget to show off your classic Kenny look!
By night, become Kenny’s alter-ego, Mysterion!
Just wearing this got me excited for the next South Park game coming in 2017 where you’ll be able to play as Mysterion, along with tons of other characters!
This side has the tag, though – so remember to cut it off before going on any vigilante superhero missions.
Kidrobot 6″ Professor Chaos Figure – Value $40+ (based on the stand version of the figure)?
This vinyl figure is HUGE! It’s easily the biggest (and probably the best) vinyl figure I’ve ever received in a subscription box.
Butters’ evil alter ego – Professor Chaos – also glows in the dark!
It’s hard to decide if the hoodie of vinyl figure is better, but both are definitely the hero items of the box! My estimated value may be low as well – the standard version of this figure is $40+ on Amazon, while a rare AWESOME-O 6″ figure is going for over $100!
Clyde Frog Plush Toy – Value $15?
Here’s a classic! Clyde Frog is one of Cartman’s stuffed animals from season 1! It’s also his favorite stuffed animal, and from the info card, I learned that Clyde Frog has appeared in more episodes than any other of his stuffed animals!
It’s got a weighted bean base so it can sit upright – just like in the show.
You’ll have to make your own Clyde Frog chair, though!
Safe Space Caution Tape – Value $5?
This is the item from the most recent season in the box.
PC Principal uses the safe space tape in season 19 to tape off his PC Frat house!
Chef’s Salty Chocolate Balls Silicon Mold – Value $15+?
The next item is a reference to the ever-present Chef – I miss him!
Now you can be part of the run-on joke made famous in season 2! These are BPA free and hand wash only!
20 Seasons of Cartman Print – Value $10?
The last item in the box was a print. While I’m not the biggest fan of prints – I did love this one.
There are just so many great Cartman moments on the show – and it’s fun to see a lot of them captured in this print. What was your favorite Cartman moment?
Verdict: Every South Park fan is going to have a blast with this box – I had fun from start to finish. For me, the two hero items were all I needed to be really happy with the box – you’re going to love the hoodie and the figure! The other items were smaller, but I also thought they were enjoyable as well – even though they might not be of everyday use. Overall, it’s a great gift for a South Park fan.
What did you think of the Loot Crate South Park Limited Edition Crate?
Can you please put how much the estimated $$ price is for the box in your reviews? We like to know how much the box really costs vs what we paid and I don’t want to calculate it up, even though you were nice enough to put what you believe the individual items cost.
Does anyone know if the box is sold out now? I noticed the web page is still active but only lets me go so far in the ordering process :/. https://www.lootcrate.com/crate/south-park-crate
At this point if it is sold out, is eBay my best option?
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi
This is a great reviews – I am going to buy my partner one as he loves south park!
Please could you tell me what size hoodie you got?
Thans
My hoodie is a XXL – it runs pretty true to size. Hope that helps!
Gotta’ admit, I was really disappointed by this crate.
I ordered as soon as it became available thinking it would sell out really quick. Had I known that it would still be available for sale after it was shipped I would’ve waited and after reading this wouldn’t have bothered ordering it at all.
While I agree the hoodie and figure are quite cool, everything else just feels like filler to meet the 8 item requirement – particularly the trays and the tape (honestly, I’m probably just going to throw both of those items away they’re so stupid). In fact, all these items feel like filler so much to the point where I’m surprised they didn’t include the box/sticker combo as one of the 8 items. I don’t live in the US, so this crate cost me $120 and I don’t feel like I got anywhere near the value of what I paid.
I am a huge South Park fan and continuously watch the show from the start over and over and was just expecting so much more from this crate. None of the items – not even the hoodie and figure – were as clever, funny or vulgar as I was expecting. Hugely disappointed.
I have to agree with Jay. Even though I am a huge SP fan and I loved a lot of the items, this box was way to expensive for what we got. I this was a $40 box or a $50 box (and even that is pushing it) then yeah I could see this being a good value. But for what they charged, this was a big let down. Don’t get me wrong, I’m going to wear my hoodie but I paid way too much. I filmed a review for my youtube channel and I said that I only got this box because I split the cost with my brother.
I was on the fence for this one, I even filled out my credit card info probably three separate times but backing out last minute and now I’m glad. I love SP, but $120 was way too much for a mystery box. I actually thought with that price it must have some awesome exclusive items, but there’s no way it’s worth more than $60. ($40 usd) incl shipping. My hunch is they spent too much on box design, and they needed a last minute item so threw in the Brown silicone ball molds ($0.64 on aliexpress).
Great, now I wish I had ordered. That Kenny hoodie is awesome.
Oh, I can still order. Great!
I received this box and I loved everything in it! The butters figure was my favorite! And I loved putting the stickers on the school bus, it was super fun. The coin is also a nice touch to the box. 🙂
The only thing in here that I’d be psyched about is Clyde Frog, so I looked it up on eBay. They’re *selling* (not just listed, but actually selling) for $25-$40. FYI.
I might want the pan to make Chef’s Chocolate Salty Balls if it came with a recipe…
