Red Apple Lipstick in Rebel! - FULL SIZE! Value $23.50

While I usually stay away from bold reds, this Rebel! shade is a cool tone - my favorite kind of red. Plus the formula is free of any type of ingredient you may want to avoid.

It has nice subtle shine finish, too. Here it is swatched:

Great pigment!

Kahina Giving Beauty Beldi Soap - 25 g (Travel Size) Value $5

Unlike your typical bar soap, this soap is more of a moldable gel. To use, you put about a tablespoon onto a washcloth and make a lather. This was an interesting soap, and the packet is great for travel, but the eucalyptus scent was a little too strong for me!

Apoterra Tulsi Rejuvenating Oil - 1 oz Value $7

I opened this bottle and immediately loved the scent. (If you are a basil fan, this oil is for you!) It's a body oil, and they recommend applying it directly after a shower to seal in moisture. (And it is made with all natural and organic ingredients!)

Pai Serum Concentrate - 2 ml Value $3

This oil is designed to deeply conditions skin, improve firmness and elasticity, and give you a clear, even skin tone.

It absorbed quickly into my skin and left a little sheen. I don't think I'll be able to see results with this size of a sample (probably about 3 uses), but it does make my skin feel lovely!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $38.50 - I think that's good for a $15 beauty box! I also love that Petit Vour seems to focus on quality over quantity, and the sample sizes are almost always good for multiple uses. And getting a full-size lipstick that's worth more than the cost of the box is always nice!

I re subscribed this month to try the RAL and I’m remembering all the reasons I unsubscribed. I filled out the questionnaire with tan skin tone , BOLD makeup preferences. Still, I received “Oh My Guava” the nude, least bold, shade of the 3 they sent out. Super disappointed, regret the resub’.

Agree! The Pai facial oil is nothing short of a miracle for face and neck blemishes. In one night it erased blemishes I was trying to knock out for weeks. The smell is a bit heavy from the omegas, but boy is it worth it.

Oooh, I love the scent of basil, so that body oil is right up my alley! In fact, if I’m out and see a cocktail with basil as an ingredient, I just have to have it! 🙂

Have you ever thought about doing a side-by-side comparison of Petit Vour to Satva, similar to what MSA occasionally does with Birchbox & Ipsy?

Petit Vour’s boxes seem to have improved (in my opinion) the past 2 or 3 months. I’m thinking of subbing to this again & Satva once my no-buy sub rule is over this year.

I just got my first Satva box, so I definitely can do comparisons in the future. Thanks for the idea! (And yay for Basil! 🙂 )

What a great box this month! I received the Oh My Guava lipstick, which is a lovely pale pink color that’s perfect for my skin tone. I like the energizing smell of eucalyptus, so I’m sure I’ll use every bit of my sample soap. The body and facial oils are nice, too.

Great review Liz! Don’t you love how easy it is to apply that lipstick? I also received the color rebel! and it’s so amazing! The blue tones underneath really do make ones teeth appear whiter. Needless to say, I’m in love! I didn’t care for the beldi soap either…. But the Pai oil really helped smooth/soothed my skin. I had an allergic reaction to some medicine that really made my skin super dry and bumpy. That Pai oil is excellent!

Three cheers for Petit Vour! I love discovering new clean beauty products 🙂

** oops, was trying to say that although my skin was all jacked up, the Pai oil seemed to really help it recover super quickly. Smooth skin once again!
