Can you purchase subscriptions for other people as a gift?

You can! Once you go to the BOTM site, scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll see “Give a Gift” as an option in the footer of the page. 🙂

I don’t think that we are able to use the 50% off coupon for the gifts though 🙁

These changes are awesome. Love BOTM!

I’m OCD about sub dates, so I always log in, but it’s nice to think that if there is ever an emergency or something similar, I wouldn’t be stuck with a book I didn’t want.

I think this is a great feature! I won’t ever need the skip option since I usually always add books to my box!! Can not ever get enough to read 🙂 Wondering if anyone else has book boxes they recommend. I get Bookcase Club (Thrill seeker and strange world), Powell’s Indiespensible, Muse Monthly and BOTM. I wish I could afford Cozy Reader but it is just a bit out of my self imposed budget.

I get Powell’s Indiespensable and Muse Monthly too, plus I did splurge on Cozy Reader (while it is expensive, I always look forward to it so much because it seems so thoughtfully curated). Thanks to another reader on this site who recommended it, I also subscribe to Parnassus First Editions, which sends you a signed first edition each month for the retail price of the book plus shipping. Of the book subscriptions I have, Parnassus is the one that most closely matches my taste, followed closely by Powell’s.

BooklyBox is a really great sub that gives you a book in your choice of genres, some tea packets, two useful items, and a really great drawstring bookbag (if you’ve seen Uppercase, its like that kind of bag, but BETTER and actually usable). Plus they donate a book to areas in need. This month is Liberia. 🙂
