Loot Crate DX is Loot Crate's first monthly Deluxe subscription. They pitch it as an "elevated assortment of collectibles, apparel, home goods and more from your favorite pop culture franchises every month." They also promise no crossover items from the Core Loot Crate box.
This month's theme was Anti-Hero.
Mine arrived late - but it's better late than never (I'm looking at you, July Loot Crate DX).
Loot Crate kindly sent us this box to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The box was a little bit cooler this month - Check out this great Deadpool artwork on the inner-lid.
There were more items than normal this month - that's always a good thing! It was based on some of your favorite Anti-Heroes.
Each month typically comes with a pin. This month, we received a dog tag instead.
These can be used like a pin, though. It's magnetic, and has a second magnetic disc that you use for backing - so you can attach it to whatever you'd like.
Deadshot Metals Die-Cast - Value $10
This was the only item of the month that was not exclusive.
This little metal figure is similar to the Iron Man figure we received in the May Loot Crate DX - except this one is smaller, coming in around 4" tall.
It's got a great paint job and good details.
Here's a 360-degree look at Deadshot!
Suicide Squad Belt - Value $10?
Keeping in theme with the Suicide Squad, our next item features the entire crew. This is an adjustable belt that has the feel of seat belt material. Which makes more sense when you find out that they're made by Buckle-Down belts, who make just that, seat belt style belts.
The buckle itself feels durable and solid. It's also easy to open and lock - which isn't always the case with these types of belt buckles. You can also easily adjust the length by pulling more past the belt buckle and trimming to length, so it's pretty versatile.
Here's a look at the full-length design.
Borderlands 2: Handsome Jack Mask with Light0up Stand - Value $15-20?
The next item is from Borderlands. This collectible is an officially licensed statue/light.
This stands about 5" tall, with Jack's mask coming in around 4" tall.
The base lights up (batteries included) for a little extra effect. I love that classic Borderlands cell-shading on the mask as well.
Deadpool Sunglasses with Hard Case - Value $25-30?
My first thought when unboxing this was that the case was really high-quality and durable. I might just use this case for my regular glasses.
Inside is a pair of aviator sunglasses. The red frames with black lenses would definitely suit Deadpool!
You'll find a Deadpool logo on the side as well.
They are nice sunglasses. Unfortunately, I wear glasses - so I was super blind in this photo.
Preacher Book #1 Graphic Novel - Value $30?
I pulled the value of this from the non-exclusive hardback available on Amazon. This is an exclusive slip cover made for Loot Crate! This is one of my highest recommended comics out there - read it first, then watch the show!
Deadpool Print - Value $10?
The final item in the box was a Deadpool print. I've always struggled with what to really do with these. I don't have walls for display, so I usually end up hoarding them hoping for more wall space in the future. This one found a perfect place, though:
What do you think?
Verdict: This was one of the best months of Loot Crate DX for me. I thought it was packed to the brim without sacrificing the quality of the items. I'm glad that they're finding other wearables besides t-shirts to include in these boxes, too. We get a lot of shirts each month - so something new, like this belt, is a welcome change. This month makes me excited to see what's in store for September!
