This month's theme is "Lost in Food." Yum, sounds good to me! This letter is included this month, explaining why each item was chosen.

Print by The Squiddy Shop - Value $4.25

Lost Blvd. suggests sending this card as an invitation to a meal, or to thank someone for sharing a meal with you. What a nice idea!

Plaid Poncho - Listed Value $42

Will this be the autumn of ponchos? Yes, it looks like it's shaping up that way so far. This is a nice warm one, and the fringe is a cool touch. I'm not in love with the print, but the design is great. It's basically like wearing a giant blanket, which is probably my dream attire. Lost Blvd. includes it as the perfect piece to wear to a picnic or famers' market this fall.

Lunch Bag by Oh Little Rabbit - Listed Value $8

The link above is to a larger version of this bag. This is cute. It will definitely get used around here! I pack three lunches every night and am always scrambling for more reusable bags.

Roaming Cooking Utensil Set - Value $13.95

This is a really nice stainless steel utensil set! This will go great with the lunch bag above!

Swedish Egg Soap by Victoria - Value $4.95

This soap is really pretty and it smells great. You can also leave it on your skin for a bit and use it as a mask! It left my skin feeling a little tight, but not in a bad way. It's a Swedish beauty secret!

Kitchen Towel by Valentine Viannay - Value $18

How funny is this tea towel? I am starting to have quite a tea towel collection thanks to subscription boxes!

Hell Fire Pepper Jelly by Sweet Heat - Value $7

Holy smokes this jelly is hot! I love the sweet and hot combination, though, so it's fine. It's awesome, actually!

Solid Lotion Bar by Queen Bee Apothecary - Value $6

This is seriously almost too pretty to use! I did sample it, though. I really like solid lotion, and this one goes on smoothly and smells great.

Verdict: I thought this package from Lost Blvd. was really nice! I really liked everything in it, especially the utensil set, the jelly, and the soap. The value this month comes to about $104, which is great for an $81 box! Everything also fit the theme well.

Seems like a nice box but the monthly payment is keeping me from subbing… The Blueberry Lotion Bar sounds wonderful!

I want to order this, but I can’t. The website has moved, but when I go to lostblvd.com, it tells me that the site is no longer available. 🙁 Shame, because it looks just as cute as the Umba subscription, and I ordered both of those yesterday.

I would not be happy to spend $81 on a box and get a plaid poncho (though this one looks open, so it’s more a wrap than a poncho) in August. Our nights are chilly after the fog rolls in, but that one looks too heavy and plaid screams winter to me.

I love the: reusable lunch bag, utensils and the blueberry cream lotion! My husband would love that hot jelly.

I can a new supply of pepper jelly every year-in fact, it is just about time to do it again! My husband likes peanut butter and pepper jelly and I use my jelly in stir fry when I have a jar open. My absolute favorite way to eat it is with goat cheese, though. Give it a try. It is amazing.
