This box comes with an info booklet – the first page is a letter explaining the theme. Inside each maker and their products are detailed. There’s also details about the fair trade practices, community support initiatives, etc. – it is a feel-good read!

Salt & Pepper Shakers from the Palestinian Territories - Value $20

Globein-093

These ceramic salt and pepper shakers are hand painted are stunning! You can really tell how much work and craftsmanship goes into every detail, and I love the watercolor look of the paint, too!

Globein-095

Ceramic Spoon Rest from the Palestinian Territories - Value $18

I love that we get a matching set!

Globein-096

If I could change anything about the spoon rest I would make the groove in the handle a little deeper - right now the spoon kind of balances in place. (That's a very minor critique, though.)

It also has a hole at the base of the handle so you could add a leather/suede tie to hang it.

Globein-024

Neem Wood Spice Bowl from India - Value $15

This is one of my favorite items in the box! I love the simple design and the material choice. I feel like this would work with almost any kitchen style.

Globein-092

This could work for holding spices, salts, tea, etc.

Globein-030

Ilocano Asin Sea Salt - Value $12

This month, subscribers could opt out of the regular basket and choose this salt instead. I love that GlobeIn offers so many customization options - this is one of those subscriptions that I feel keeps getting better with time and they seem to really take subscribers' feedback to heart!

Globein-054

This salt is (apologies in advance for using this word) moist, with a crunchy texture. It is best used for grilling, roasting, and finishing.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $65. I think that's good for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And as always, GlobeIn impresses me with their themes and curation each month!

This box also feels like it would make a wonderful house warming gift!

Moist….hehehehe!!!

I really love this box! I’ve been on the fence about subscribing again, because I don’t need anything in this box, but I really want it because Globe In, for the most part, has been consistently cranking out great boxes.

LOL, that stupid word makes me cringe every time I hear/see it.

I am considering re-subbing, too. Not sure yet….

I love that the boxes now complement each other. The items in this box look so nice next to my Benefit Basket item! 🙂

This box really does a lovely job with curation. Each of these pieces really fits the “savor” theme, I love that. Beautiful pieces!

I am excited to get my box. I actually opted in to get a basket this month, rather than wet salt. I will be putting my salt and pepper shakers to immediate use. I hope they stock the shop with more pottery pieces! I wouldn’t mind having a few more. I love the spice bowl. I have been kicking myself for not purchasing an extra one before they sold out!
