In June all Artisan Box subscribers will have an option to receive a Bottle Basket instead of the regular GlobeIn Signature Basket.

Bottle Basket, Mexico (Retail $12).
All bottle baskets will come in this exact design and color.

Your bottle basket should look familiar—it’s a picnic-themed variation on our monthly baskets. Made by our weaver friends in Oaxaca, this piece is dexterously hand-woven by palm leaves gathered in the hills.

Measurements: about 11" tall. (Exact size will vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the product.)

Suggested use: Transport a bottle of tea or lemonade safely and stylishly to your picnic spot.

And here are the first two spoilers:

Each Picnic Box will come with:

1) Neem Wood Travel Cutting Board, India (Retail $15).

This gorgeous piece of Indian craftsmanship will easily become a staple both in and outside your kitchen. Handcarved and polished to perfection this cutting board is perfect for serving cheeses, charcuterie and fruits at your next party or picnic!

Measurements: about 7" long. (Exact size will slightly vary due to the handmade nature of the product.)

Suggested use: Tote along to your picnic and get all hands on deck—use as a cheese board, for making sandwiches, or placing fruit on.

And in case you missed the first spoiler:

1) Peace Picnic Blanket, Cambodia (Retail $30).
Please note: colors will vary (for both the upcycled and fabric side).

Nothing differentiates the amateur picnicker from the advanced like a good blanket, one that brings comfort to whatever ruggedness you’re up against. Be it dirt, sand, dew, or those pesky tree roots, the heavy duty upcycled bags of your new Peace Handicrafts blanket are up to the task. Meanwhile, the soft fabric of the flipside is afternoon nap approved.

Established in 2002, Peace Handicrafts trains and employs deaf, disabled, and underprivileged persons in the making of high quality, award-winning products from recycled materials.

Measurements: 3x5 feet
Suggested use: Choose a special spot and roll it on out!

I switched this out for the Bathe box. I love that we have options if we don’t care for the current box. I’m a new subscriber and just received my set of the iridescent glasses that came in last month’s box. I love them! Thank you, Liz, for the code! I think I am really going to love this subscription.

Nicely thought-out box, but not up my alley. I opted to get a second “Hydrate” box instead. Absolutely loved everything in that one.

I am SO glad I swapped for another basket this month! I feel like I dodged a bullet there! However, I’ve seen lots of people commenting here and on Facebook that they are super excited for this one! I have to majorly agree about the cutting board comment above – way small! Love this subscription, but don’t care for this month at all.

I used to love globein but the past few have been misses for me and I find myself picking other, past boxes ( thank goodness for that option!). I think it’s time to cancel.

$24 seems high for 4 samplers & 1 full size treat bag. The full size bag should cost between $10-$12, so that would make the samplers $3-$4 each? If it’s half a bag, the value would be there, but for a handful of each, I don’t think so.

GlobeIn has become one of my favorite boxes. The cutting tray is perfect for serving berries. Love the blanket!

I am very excited for this box! I hope they let us add on cups like they did last month with the glasses.

That cutting board is so small, who would take it to a picnic? To hold four slices of kiwi? Really?

I like the picnic blanket, but it will constantly make the crinkle sounds from the upcycled plastic stuff. I’ll pass on this package.

Love this box. I was planning to unsubscribe but it may be hard to do that.
