Bottle Basket, Mexico (Retail $12)

This month, subscribers could pick between this wine bottle basket or the standard palm leaf storage basket. I love this new design, and I hope they continue to let this be an option each month!

(FYI - this only worked on narrow wine bottles.)

A hostess gift ready to go!

Neem Wood Travel Cutting Board, India (Retail $15)

This piece is beautiful - and the wood is so smooth! The small scale makes sense for a picnic themed box, too.

Color Travel Cup, India (Retail $12)

I LOVE this cup! The stainless steel interior is a perfect match with this bright design!

I already want a set! I still need to find out if this is dishwasher safe, though. For now, it will be a beautiful desk accessory to hold pens/pencils!

UPDATE: GlobeIn recommends handwashing for this cup since it is hand-painted.

Peace Picnic Blanket, Cambodia (Retail $30).
Please note: colors will vary (for both the upcycled and fabric side).

Another fabulous item! I love that this picnic blanket has an upcycled plastic bag side. Perfect for damp grass, dirt, etc.

And what is a picnic without a puppy?

I was holding treats to get him to take this picture, but he was pretty adamant that picnics meant food stat:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $70. I think that's good for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And as always, GlobeIn impresses me with their themes and curation each month!

This is one of my favorite GlobeIn boxes ever - I love all the items, and everything is both practical and special!

At first I was disappointed that the cup doesn’t have a lid (I thought of travel as in take the drink with you rather than tote an unbreakable, light cup to drink from), but I remembered that similar jewel-toned steel glasses from my childhood seemed to keep drinks cold. So I’m keeping mine in the freezer to make my drinks that much colder!

Have to give Globein a shout out about their great customer service. My blanket arrived damaged so they are shipping me a replacement free within 12 hours of me emailing them. I really like supporting this sub and am so pleased with all my boxes so far. Thanks Globein

What kind of puppy is that?! It looks just like my moms and they told her it was a poodle at the shelter! I don’t think it looks anything like a poodle! Thank you for the great review. I need to order this box, love everything they send each month!

Buckles looks like a Cairn Terrier. We have one that looks like her twin. I love Buckles in photos. So glad that’s a thing now. 🙂 Thanks Liz and Eric!

My grandmother had a dog that looked exactly like that and it was a poodle, just not shaved the way you usually see poodles 🙂

I was just going to comment that the doggie looks exactly like my Razii he is a “cockapoo” cocker spaniel and poodle mix. They are precious and never shed, perfect for my allergies 🙂

Things for your desk

Very cool accessories. The one for wine bottles is my favorite.

This box looks awesome- I’m most excited about the blanket. It’s going in my car so I have it with me. Glad they offer a choice on different items for the regular baskets- though I’m still wanting the baskets as I am new to this sub. The glasses are not available for sale on their site yet but usually items from boxes go up there. I won’t use mine as years of spilling has made me only use a bottle with a cap.

I can’t wait to get my box – love everything! I really like the colors / pattern on your blanket too, hopefully I get one like it.
Only thing that could make this box better is if they included a puppy as cute Buckles too!

*I really really hope the cup is dishwasher safe
