Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

boxycharm-june-2016-farmacy

Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask Medley (3 Pack) - Value $24

(This pack is identical to the mask pack I linked to with the exception that this box has messaging that this is made exclusively for Boxycharm and not for resale.)

I've become a little obsessed with the Farmacy brand since discovering it through POPSUGAR Must Have! I've loved every single product from their line I've tried so far, so I couldn't wait to try these masks!

(Plus I love that this item alone is worth more than the cost of the box! Well done, Boxycharm!)

boxycharm-june-2016-masks

This is a standard sheet mask - wear it for about 25 minutes, then let any remaining formula absorb into your skin.

I tried this out last night and loved the results - super hydrating and the scent was great too. (I got a little of the formula on my hands, and it was a great hand moisturizer, too!)

boxycharm-june-2016-ofra

OFRA Cosmetics Oil Control Pressed Powder - Value $39.95

This powder works well (BUT!) I recommend using it sparingly. I'm used to translucent powder that I can pack on without ever seeing it, but I used heavy brushstrokes with this pan, and it definitely showed up as white.

But now that I have the hang of it, I'm a fan! Plus this pan should last for a long time!

boxycharm-june-2016-cougar

Cougar Beauty Face and Body Shimmer - Value $27

This brand is new to me, and I'm impressed! A lot of shimmery powders can come off as sparkly, but the particles in this powder are super fine, so you end up with a look that is more of an overall glow. Not a question from your husband like, "Are you wearing glitter on your face?"

I also tried mixing this with lotion for the body shimmer part of the product. It worked well and gave my legs a healthy looking overall sheen. I think I'll stick to using this as a face powder, though - I'd go through it too quickly otherwise.

boxycharm-june-2016-eyeliner

Girlactik Beauty Precise Eyeliner Marker - Value $20

boxycharm-june-2016-eyeliner-inhand

Eyeliners aren't the most exciting thing to get in subscription boxes, but this one does work well! I don't have the smoothest hand when it comes to applying liquid liner pens, but this one went on so easily. Here it is swatched:

boxycharm-june-2016-swatch

boxycharm-june-2016-lvx

LVX Nail Lacquer in Serene - Value $18

(Looks like colors will vary for subscribers since the info card didn't specify a shade).

I like the LVX brand a lot - their formulas are great, plus cruelty-free and vegan! Here is this periwinkle creme shade swatched:

Verdict: This is the type of Boxycharm box I love! The value is amazing ($129) and I will use every single item in the box. Everything is full-size too! My favorite products are the Farmacy masks, and the Cougar powder, but really everything is a win!

I just canceled my sub, very unhappy with a lack of customer service etiquette with this sub! They like to jipp people and not take responsibility, I was missing an item for my june box and my contact to boxy charm has not received a response, and reading other posts in regards to missing items, damaged items, missing boxes, boxy charm seems to give their customers a hard time about it rather then taking any accountability.. damn shame.

I just signed up in late June to get this box and they don’t do customer service on weekends, but as soon as it wasn’t weekend it took a day for a response and they were incredibly helpful and assured me I’d get the June box, it arrived and was in perfect condition. I had subscribed previously and left when an item was messed up and they gave me points but when I used them in store it charged my card instead of using the points and I demanded a refund. They refunded me and sent me some free items. I unsubscribed until now and I am hopeful from the response I got that they’ve improved some. I don’t think their customer service staff is that large, but they could improve on time for responses some.

their response took long, weekend or not but they did respond eventually …

Kathy

Anyone know if this is still available thanks!

I ordered today and it said my first box would be the june box

Sarah

I deactivated on the 22nd also and it didn’t say which month my first box would be, but it said I’d be billed on July 2, so I’m guessing that means the July box. :-/

Danielle

I just got mine, and I’m super impressed! I love every item! Boxycharm really puts Glossybox to shame.

I’m so excited to try all these items. They all look awesome. I’m still waiting on my box to get here but it should be here soon. Boxycharm was my 1st subscription ever, I started in January. I now have boxycharm, birchbox, Ipsy, Allure, Walmart, Target and Play! By Sephora. I love all the new and exciting items I get in these monthly boxes, b/c most of them I wouldn’t normally buy. BTW, Great review:)

Wow, great job, BoxyCharm!

Well I in. I,was looking for a beauty sub without all the tiny samples and this fits the bill. I got the 3 month plan and will see how much I keep and how much I gift. So excited to get this month’s box.

Tris

It looks like Julys box is going to be even better. Great time to sign up!!

I just signed up after seeing this! I’m in love with this box! Does anyone know if the Eyeliner is Waterproof or Not?? Thanks so much in Advance! ?

Reply ButtonReply

TheresaH

It’s water resistant, smudge proof and lightweight or so that is what is about it by clicking the link for it. It looks good. Hope that helps you?

I used their special offer of a Tarte Amazonian clay eyeliner gift to rejoin Boxycharm, so my box total will be $147.95. Wow! I intend to gift the Girlactik (don’t need more than the 7 black eyeliners I already own) and the LVX nail polish in Cadaver Blue. But the Ofra powder, Cougar shimmer, Tarte eyeliner and Farmacy masks for just $21 are truly a fantastic deal.

I’m sold! I signed up based on this box review!!

Ha! how many times have I heard “Did you put glitter on your face?” from my husband!

Reply ButtonReply

hahaha I can relate. My husband always tells me I’m so sparkly in the sunlight… >.<

Got mine yesterday! Second month with Boxycharm, and I’m very happy. I got the same nail polish as you, Liz. Super excited to try the masks, and one can never have too many eyeliners! Needed to buy powder, so I’m glad I got that. Thanks for the tip about the shimmer! I was wondering what I’d do with it once the spoilers were out, but then I saw it is not too glittery, so it will do well as a highlight. Thanks for the review!

I had resubbed to this for the masks. Will definitely try that trick with the body lotion. Wonder how it will compare to Nuxe shimmer oil.

I agree with everyone. This box seems to consistently keep a high value and also contains products I will actually use. It seems like anytime there’s an item that I might not use, it’s always one that my daughter is excited about, so it always works out for us.

Of all my boxes (7) Boxycharm is my favorite and I can always see the value in it.

Reply ButtonReply

Traci

OMG I just counted and I actually have 11 subscriptions….wow, I need to purge before my husband notices lol

Nich

Ohh, cool box, I want the sheet masks, the cougar shimmer and the face powder. Bummer there’s no coupon. Hopefully this box will still be available next week when I get paid!
Great review ?

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

I am subbing tonight…mainly for those Farmacy masks and the Cougar powder 🙂

Katy

I think this looks like a great box. I disagree on the eyeliner though. I think eyeliner is the most exciting thing I could possibly get in a subscription box. Nail polish, on the other hand, is the blah zone. I like the sizes of the products and the quality. Hopefully they will release a good coupon for signing up soon although I kind of wish I had snagged this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlie

I feel the exact same way! And I always wonder why other people hate getting eyeliner. Eyeliner is always something I can use and I’m guaranteed to have enough extras now that if I get a dud, I can just throw it out without thinking “Bummer, I was counting on that when it came in the box and now I have to go buy another eyeliner.” Nail polishes aren’t too great but better than lip colors in my opinion. I’m never excited to get polish, but sometimes I really do like the color and know I’ll wear it. But lip colors, Lordy. Someone told the sub boxes pink goes well on everyone and that’s just not true! Hahaha. I constantly get glosses and lipsticks I just give away to friends. And perfume!

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I have a hard time finding a good lip product that works well for me so I can get obsessive about lippies. I joined Lip Monthly in time to start with July and I am so excited for my first bag.

Dianne

I’ve been very happy with their boxes. All of their boxes have the highest value. This is my 5th box. The only product that I didn’t like in all of this past boxes was that green liner that I had a allergy to. But I use it all. The cougar face body looks like gold sparkles in the Sun. Wow

Reply ButtonReply

MzBev

Every unboxing I’ve seen had the same polish color – so I really hope I get it! It’s a color I don’t already have and would absolutely wear! I had cancelled them for May, after being disappointed for 2 months straight, but came back and hope they stay on track, going forward.

Of all my beauty subs this is the one I bought an annual to and I am so glad I did. Boxycharm is the best for the cost. The others are going downhill rather fast but Boxycharm remains quality. I have only received maybe 3 boxes that were meh in the past 18 months which is terrific. I am looking forward to this box. I highly recommend subbing annually to this box.

Liz Cadman

Agree! There have been a few boxes I wasn’t super excited about, but this box is a classic example of the Boxycharm I know and love! 🙂

Nicole

So excited to get mine ! This is becoming my fav beauty product box. I love most everything I get from them, and the value always seems to be incredible . This is one box I won’t let go of!!!

K

I cancelled Glossybox and converted to Boxycharm. This will be my first box and already, I’m glad I switched. Boxycharm has a much better value every time and their curation makes sense. Can’t wait to get my first box.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

What a great first box! Hope you love all the products as much as I do!

Reply ButtonReply

K

Thanks Liz! Your reviews are very informative and help me make the right choices. I try to give myself a monthly budget on these indulgences so I give up one sub for another. I think this is a good switch!

jenn

aaah. of course the first month after I cancel is the first month it would have been a box I liked. #subscriptionboxkarma. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Kel

Same here. I cancelled a couple of months ago. This looks like I would use everything but the eye liner. Oh well….

Carolann

Great review! This looks like a fun box. I’m looking to subscribe to Boxycharm but am holding out for a coupon or freebie. I tried the BOXYTARTE code yesterday and received a “code not active” error.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yea, no coupons currently. 🙁 Make sure to sign up for coupon alerts for Boxycharm at the end of this review to get an email when we get a new one. Not sure when that will happen though – they are somewhat rare!

Reply ButtonReply

Carolann

Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t know Boxycharm coupons were elusive!

ChereK

Much better! I like this one a lot better than the previous months!

Barbie

I can’t wait to get this one! I’m extremely excited to try the face masks – but I have to agree with you, it all looks like a win.

I’m considering cutting some of my subs and Boxycharm was on the cutting block, but a couple more months like this, and I’ll have to Sophie’s Choice some other box to keep it!

Great review. I’m going to try mixing the Cougar with body lotion for my legs. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

K

OMG! I can’t stop laughing about the “Sophie’s Choice” reference. It does feel like giving up a child when you get attached to these boxes. As I commented above, I gave up Glossybox for Boxycharm. Easy decision. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Glad you are excited for the box too! I think you’ll love the facemasks. Farmacy is one of my favorite new sub box brands this year! 🙂
