New CFDA POPSUGAR Must Have Box Spoiler #2

Guys! Does anyone that purchased this wanna trade sunnies?

I am getting it, hope it’s better than last year… Hey I’ve got the resort box hat. And mines too large!! So many are saying that theirs was too small? Who wants to trade? Maybe these had sizes? I haven’t worn it not even once…

Well the drawing that PS put out again is for $1000 shopping spree and a CFDA box. Total award $1725 soooo the CFDA box is worth $725.

I am not buying this box after the untruths of last year and returning my box. I am open however to possibly swapping my black sunnies from the Neimen Marcus Box for these if they are not totally reflective as some of the pictures show.

I’m really on the fence about this one. It looks like it has the potential to be a great box, but is it worth the price tag?? Can anyone offer some guidance? Looks like this is going to be much better than the previous box…

Since the last box was such a drag, it’s possible that they would want to step it up in a big way.

The main reason I plunked down the money last year was I hoping for some fashion forward items. I knew they might not work or be my style, but wanted to try future design. Instead we got earrings and bracelets that were not only NOT the future of fashion, but actually dated.
This year the items are “ok” but nothing that’s a “wow.” It’s just a Popsugar box with the CFDA name just tacked on.

Still nope. I’ve fallen in love with the Quay sunglasses that were in the LE People “The Voice” box. I have two pair that should carry me all the way through summer and beyond. Not sure there’s anything that can make me go for this box. The price point is just too high.

I feel they made a huge mistake with the inclusion of a clothing item. If you’re going to charge so much for a box, everything in it should be usable for whoever is purchasing regardless of “size”… That one size fits all, is not going to work for plus size subscribers- let’s be honest… Especially when high end fashion tends to be mercilessly unforgiving with plus sized women as is…. Which means the rest of the box needs to be on point if you’re asking for that crazy amount. The glasses are cute… But if it’s $177 value, makes me wonder what other items remain? Lotion, a makeup item… Maybe so expensive home item like a picture frame or candle? I don’t think that’s worth the price tag! Tbh, I’m upset they brought this box back but not the QVC box which I personally thought was AWESOME!!! I loved the fact that you can put it on easy pay AND I loved the fact that you knew what you were getting! QVC did an awesome job with the curation and presentation.

LOVE those sunglasses!!! I won’t be getting this box, but would LOVE to trade for those glasses! 🙂

Personally, I’m glad I passed on this. The coverup is not something I would use and the sunglasses are not my style. But I’m glad to see others who are happy to have them!

I like the sunnies but my ocd can’t get past that cover up and the lines that dont match up. If the lines had been the same width or the hem had been even I maybe would have subscribed.

This box is a BIG no from me. The coverup was terrible with it’s mismatched stripes and the “one size” that most likely is going to cause trouble. Those glasses are cute but not my style one bit. I’m still in awe of the price.

The sunnies are pretty cute. Love the tortoise shell – assuming that’s what I would get. But that shape is no good for me.

So far, this box seems better than last year’s nightmare. But that’s not a very high bar and certainly not enough for $225.

I still can’t get over the fact that they not only released another CFDA box but raised the price!! That’s balls, man.

The hat is definitely from the resort box, and I love mine. It’s a wee small on my head but barely and I wear it with my long hair down.

You can find the same Goorin Bros. brand on Amazon for like $40-45 depending, same brand, same hat. They have loads of similar designs of same hat if you don’t like the embellishment around it as well.

I do like style of the tortie sunglasses but not knowing what color I would get and disliking the coverup, I can’t justify this box at it’s price. I jump on their $100 LE boxes, but never get the NM or now this CFDA and last year’s was so bad. Not one item I would have used in it, I dodged a bullet there just from not being able to afford it that month.

I had a fair amount of FOMO for this CFDA as I didnt buy it. (I bought the special LE Luxor instead) however I no longer do. I purchased the last year CFDA and remember how I felt (not good) and it didn’t bring me any form of happiness. I only wanted the Apolis bag last year so I cashed in my Birchbox points and bought one for points alone and later swapped for another one. Even if I purchased retail, it was only $55, much less $$ than the box. Plus I returned my box. It truly was a debacle last year. I honestly hope that this box doesn’t sell well at all for this reason- a back to reality check for PS. Which I doubt would happen. I have bought every LE but 1 last year (I was too late) and the NM box and the recent Resort box – I swapped for one – and wasn’t sure I would love it, but I do. The hat is from the Resort box. For this cost, I can buy (2) LE’s (cant wait for the summer LE) and also a mini or something else and know I would be happier. That said, the wrap is adorable and would great, on someone that isn’t me. The sunnies are great except I have an awesome pair of aviators from Bespoke, A pair from R Zoe, A Pair from the NM box, plus the pairs I had already. I’m good on Sunnies (unless they were the wood ones from Luxe Prov, now those were AWESOME and SO IN), If they were showing those as the 2nd spoiler, I would have bought. I just am not loving this box. I hope that those that purchased love it and enjoy it. Not trying to be a downer, it just isn’t a fit for me. I am proud of my addicted sub box self for realizing that before pulling the trigger. My wallet thanks me.

You had me at sunglasses…. The minute I saw them I was like yes please!!

I agree- the sunglasses leave something to be desired. I was kind of hoping for some new sunnies, but I’m not a fan of these. I was waiting for an AMAZING second spoiler to finally make me buy it, but I’m going to pass. These might be amazing in person, but I really don’t like reflective shades and the risk is too high that they will be reflective. It’s too bad, because even despite last year and the not-so-great first spoiler, I really would have bought this one if the second spoiler were great.

PS- those who were thinking the hat would be next- I think the hat she’s wearing is from the Resort box. Now THAT was a great box!

Maybe the picture of the boots is really a spoiler for the nail polish lol 😛 I agree that the hat may also be an item.
