Hanging Wall Organizer, Peru (Retail $30).
This organizer has a big pocket at the bottom, and four smaller pockets above it. I put the One Love Organics Body Serum in one of the pockets to show scale.
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to use this. It isn't big enough for anything like shoes, but it might be perfect for makeup brushes, and makeup organization. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
Kitchen Towel, Turkey (Retail $12)
This is one of my favorite items in the box this month - I love all of my Turkish towels from GlobeIn! This color is great, too.
Organic Dish Cloths (Set of Two), India (Retail $10).
These work for scrubbing without scratching - one is made of cotton and one is made of jute. The jute cloth is a little more rugged, so you can use them for different scrubbing needs.
Fair Trade Surface Cleaner, Ghana/India (Retail $5).
I don't usually get too excited about cleaning products (expect whenever the Honest Company releases something new that smells amazing), but this spray is officially awesome. It smells like a lime popsicle and is made with eco-friendly and fair trade ingredients!
Here are the cloths separated:
Upcycled Container, Cambodia (Retail $10)
Subscribers could receive this as an alternative to the regular basket each month.
I love the giant laundry bag I have from GlobeIn in the same material, so I'll keep this in the laundry room as well to organizer dryer sheets, laundry balls, etc.
This box comes with an info booklet – the first page is a letter explaining the theme. Inside each maker and their products are detailed. There’s also details about the fair trade practices, community support initiatives, etc. – it is a feel-good read!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $67. I think that's good for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And as always, GlobeIn impresses me with their themes and curation each month!
My favorite pieces this month are the towel and the cleaner, but I'll use everything in the box. What do you think of the April 2016 GlobeIn Artisan box?
