The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn April 2016 Box is… Spring Clean! (Thanks, for the head's up, Kristin!)

More from GlobeIn:

Wake up, Winter Bears!

Our mission this month is to get you geared up (literally) for the big spring clean, and maybe  even...excited for it? For starters, let’s do some re-framing. Forget tedious chore and think sanctified ritual—you certainly wouldn’t be alone in doing so.

In Iran, for example, the March 21st vernal equinox signals the new year, and involves the  tradition of “shaking the house” — use your imagination. And in China, sweeping the house at  the new year is considered a way of sweeping out any bad luck that may have accumulated in the  past one.

No matter where you are in the world, the opening of tiny new buds in spring suggests a chance  to start fresh. We hope the items in this months box help you to invite a sense of spaciousness into the home in which to nurture whatever fragile, fledgling life you find winking and hopeful beneath the pile of last year.

What do you think of the spoiler theme? Any guesses on items?

Considering their Laundry Box was one of my favorite boxes of all time (from any sub) I have high hopes for this theme.

How do you “invite a sense of spaciousness” by adding more items to your home? A sense of spaciousness comes from getting rid of stuff.

“get you geared up (literally) for the big spring clean” = something with gears?

“help you to invite a sense of spaciousness into the home” = a mirror?

Sounds intriguing.

Perhaps more of a spiritual cleaning type thing? Not so much cleaning products, but more like something to get you in the mood to clean. And the last paragraph could refer to a bud vase, or even a small plant of some sort.

Nice! This sounds like it will be, at the very least, a very useful month. 🙂

Waiting for spoilers but may have to re-sub. I have a thing for cleaning products…. Hope there’s some nice “green” cleaners in there!!

I was thinking the same thing – something eco-friendly.

Hmmm…. I first thought of a broom – but I can’t imagine them shipping a broom. With getting rid if dust (through shaking and sweeping) I now think there is a duster of some sort for this spring cleaning theme.
Of course I recently bought some assume dusters so Murphy’s Law for me says they are sending dusters…
