The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn March 2016 Box is… Memory! More from GlobeIn:

Memory goes backward and forward in time. As in, “Remember that time we...” and “Don’t forget to...” Memory encapsulates our nostalgia for the past, our plans and dreams moving forward, and those pesky little to-dos that will get us there.

Each Artisan box will include:

Weekly Planner by Marie Mae Co. (Retail Value $18).

A stationery company, Marie Mae outsources design work as a way of supporting African artisan-entrepreneurs. Your planner was designed by Ewurama in Ghana. As a child, Ewurama made pictures from the terrazzo patterns in the floors of her home. Today, she is starting her own textile design company.

Meanwhile, in Rwanda, the Marie Mae Business school offers its students one hour of training per each product sold. One student, Xavera, dreams of becoming an independent businesswoman able to fund a complete education for her three children and see them, in turn, thrive professionally.

In the school, Xavera has developed the elusive and yet vital visionary qualities of the entrepreneur, such as the ability to identify hidden markets right under her nose. She and her coworkers soon plan to pitch local school leaders with the idea of their producing all local school uniforms for the next year. Pretty clever!

Made in the US. Designed in Ghana. Each planner provides an hour of Business School training for students in Rwanda.

I signed into my account today and it looks like their fees are going up:

“Attention. Starting March 1st all subscribers will be upgraded to GlobeIn Premium ($5 more/month). Opt in for a longer term subscription now to keep current pricing while enjoying the premium features.”

I’m not sure I want to keep this, March is my last box on a 3 month subscription. Curious as to what the premium will be.

If it’s undated, I’ll put it aside and use it next year!

I’m sorry, but if you don’t have a planner by March then you’re unlikely to use one. If you do use one, you already have one, and who really wants to hold onto one for 9 months so you can use it next year? Not a good choice.

Nope, not what I want at all. I already did a substitute box for February, so I may have to skip March if they don’t come up with something better.

Really, a planner in March is a terrible idea, though I can imagine they can get them cheaper as nobody is buying planners right now.

I wasn’t happy when I saw that it was a planner but I guess if it’s undated, I can hang onto it until next year? I have been using the Popsugar one at work for the To-Do section mostly (which is usually me rolling things from one day to another lol).

I like the planner. I haven’t gotten one in awhile and can always use an undated one.

I am so excited for this! It looks like it says “undated” on the cover, so I am thrilled at getting a beautiful planner that I can start now and use for a while without wasting part of it. I am really loving this spoiler!

Not thrilled with the spoiler, but not surprised given the theme. After a lot of zooming in, it looks like the notebook pictured specifies ‘Undated’, so at least it isn’t a planner with set dates that have already passed. Still not sure about this one, but I’ll wait to see more spoilers.

Bummed. If someone is a planner person they got their planner in Nov last year- it makes zero sense to send a planner out at this point.

When I think of planners in a box I think of getting them in November and December not March. By then I have already gotten my planner and started using it. I also noticed a lot of planners up for swap, that are not being swapped because it will be March next month. Maybe the rest of the box will be better and this would be a bonus item. If I subbed and paid for this box I would not be thrilled with this spoiler.

There are planner people and non-planner people. No matter how many times I’ve tried over the years, I’m just *not* a planner person. Depending on what else is in the box, I may go for an alternate choice this month. We shall see.

kind of disappointing considering I won’t receive this until the end of March and the year is 1/4 over at that point. Unless you can manually write in dates (ie I could save it for next year) this is kind of useless for me as I already have 2 planners at the moment…seems like a weird thing to send out in late march

Underwhelmed…. I’ve received planners in other boxes – this is just too similar and honestly, my laptop and cell phone are my planner. Not an item that I’m excited about:(

Had loved this box initially – and seems like the value of the items has been on the downward trend. The February items were truly “meh” – not that they weren’t ok quality and that I won’t use them – but… nothing “wow”. I’m on recurring subscription and will not renew when the time comes.
