The front of the postcard this month can be seen above, and this is the reverse side. This month's theme is clearly Harry Potter! I have read several of the books, but I don't think I've seen any of the movies.
Bellatrix Magnet - Value $3?
This month's custom magnet features Bellatrix Lestrange, Lord Voldemort's most dangerous, sadistic and foxiest witch / Death Eater.
The jewelry this month came in this custom screen printed bag. I like the mask!
Have You Seen This Wizard? Compact - Value $10?
I couldn't find this exact compact for sale online, so the link above is to an almost identical one. This is cute, diferent, and totally useful! On the inside, one mirror is magnifying and the other is actual size.
The Dark Mark Symbol Earrings - Value $15
These earrings feature the Dark Mark, the symbol of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Even for people who are not into Harry Potter, I think these could work with any sort of biker bar or generally evil costumery.
Horcrux Bracelet - Value $25?
(I couldn't find this one online, but I found a very similar one priced at $25.)
This charm bracelet has a different charm for each of the 7 Horcrux. How clever! It has Nagini (the snake), Helga Hufflepuff's Cup, Tom Riddle's diary, Harry (the lighting bolt), Marvolo Gaunt's Ring, Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem, and Salazar Slytherin's Locket.
Verdict: I think Fandom OTM Club is great! All the items are fun and well curated, plus the value adds up to about $53. That's fantastic for a box that costs less than $20! I am not the world's biggest Harry Potter fan, though, which is kind of a bummer, but I am a geek / super geek when it comes to certain fandoms, so I look forward to seeing what they offer next month. I also want to point out what Fandom OTM Club says on their website about this issue:
"If you are a person who would be devastated by receiving merchandise from a fandom you don't love, sadly this club is not for you. We hate turning people away, but we hate upsetting people even more!"
Very well said! It's the risk you run when you're a subscription box addict!
What do you think of Fandom OTM Club? Are you a Harry Potter fangirl (or fanboy)?
