Wine Awesomeness is a monthly wine subscription box. They ship their wine in this bright blue box that also functions as a fun wine briefcase!
Here is the inside packaging:
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Wine Awesomeness
The Cost: $45 a month
The Products: Get three bottles of red, white, or mixed each month.
Ships to: US (Including states most other alcohol subscriptions don't ship to, like PA and OK!)
Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your subscription list or wish list!
This box comes with a booklet detailing the wines, tasting notes, and recipe pairing ideas:
Mercat Brut Nature
This is a dry sparkling white wine. I decided to go with all white wines this month to make sure I got a bubbly! Normally I gravitate toward sweet white wines, but this non-sweet version was a nice change, and probably best for cutting back on sugar, too!
Shumi Tsinandali
This is the sweetest of the wines in the box, but still not too sweet. They recommend pairing this with poultry and included a recipe for Cornish Hen Meets Frisee Aux Lardons.
Casas del Bosque Reserva Sauvignon Blanc
Another dry white wine! They recommend pairing this with the included recipe for Burrata with Trout Caviar, Passion Fruit, Vanilla and Dates. I can't say that I tried that recipe, but I can confirm that it pairs well with popcorn!
Wine Awesomeness offers 3 different subscription options: All red, all white (with a chance of rose or bubbly), or a mix (with a chance of rose or bubbly). I decided to go with the white this month. (They make it easy to switch your preferences in your account every month).
Verdict: I really like Wine Awesomeness! I think the pricing is reasonable - $15 per bottle shipped to my door, and I like the detail of the info booklet that is included. I'm a wine novice, but I still find it approachable and fun!
Plus this is a wine box that ships to Pennsylvania! (If you live in a state where it is difficult/impossible to get alcohol in the mail, then you may understand why I'm so excited about this).
One other thing to mention about Wine Awesomeness that I appreciate:
You can skip, change your subscription preferences, or cancel your subscription from your online account.
Have you tried Wine Awesomeness? What do you think of the wine selections?
