Fig + Yarrow Smelling Salts - Value $12

Yay - I love Fig + Yarrow! These salts are "an aromatherapeutic blend of pure essential oils in salts to stimulate energy, discourage drowsiness and drive away pathogens." I took a whiff and they definitely wake you up! I guess this is a super all-natural alternative to an energy drink!

Meraki Botanicals Rosemary Sage Hair Oil - Value $15

This hair oil also has peppermint in the ingredients, so the scent is a nice blend of all those essential oils. It is made with coconut oil, so if your box arrived in cold weather like mine did, you may need to warm it up a bit to get it back to liquid form!

SkinYoga Coffee Body Scrub - Value $10

A box within a box - the ultimate goal for any subscription box addict! (I'm half kidding...I think).

I really love this packaging:

Inside are two individual coffee scrub packets:

The formula is made with just coffee grounds, coconut oil and sesame oil. When you take it out of the packet it looks like just coffee grounds - not oily like a lot of scrubs can be. If you prefer a scrub that is light on the oil, this is one of the best I've tried. You will smell like a coffee house, and your skin will get moisturized without feeling oily at all!

Mother Earth Beauty Bar Eyeshadow Primer & Eyeshadow Sample in Midnight Mocha - Value $10 total

This is the first time I've tried an all-natural eyeshadow primer, and so far I'm impressed. The first two ingredients are hemp seed butter and hemp seel oil, so the formula is a little more oily than others I've tried, but it seems to work fine. The eyeshadow is a nice matte mocha shade too. Here it is swatched:

Wellsmith Detox Bath Tea - Value $5

I feel like bath teas have been trending in subscription boxes lately! This one is a combination of Red Clover Tops, Sage, Nettle, Peppermint, Yarrow and Epsom Salts. The scent is subtle and relaxing.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $52. That's pretty good for a $37.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I would recommend this box if you are looking for a well-curated natural beauty box, but not neccesarily if you are looking for a super high-value box. I also think this box is a great way to discover new brands.

I want those smelling salts!!!!! Looks great in place of coffee (and I can’t handle the caffeine)

Do you pour out the Bath Tea or throw it into your tub in a pouch? I would hate having to clean up the tub afterward but like the idea of a Bath Tea.

You can either brew it in 2 cups of boiling water and then add that to your tub or add the bag itself to your bath.

You can use it in the pouch directly in the bath, or brew it separately (in the pouch) and then add the water to the bath. Either way – no clean up! 🙂

Agree with Nancy. This is usually one of my favorites, but this month just didn’t hit it like usual. Hopefully next month will.

I think I need the smelling salts. I am having a massive mid-afternoon slump at my desk. Soooo sleepy right now. Despite multiple cans of diet soda and multiple cups of black tea.

I find it helpful when I need energy to put a drop or two of peppermint essential oil on my palm, rub my hands together, and inhale deeply. It’s very invigorating and also clears the sinuses!

May I be so bold as to suggest that you will feel much better if you omit the diet soda? Posted with care!

I need the caffeine. I don’t do coffee.

I really like this sub– been with them from the start and also got their special Winter Box, but this month is probably my least favorite…
