Zabana Essentials Glow Stick in Bare Beauty - FULL SIZE! Value $10

This is the sheer version of their glow stick, so it doesn't really offer any tint or shimmer, but it is a nice lotion stick, and it smells SO GOOD. If you love a tropical scent, I highly recommend it! I also think I'll get the Bahama Mama version for the summer and bronze leg goals!

Kani Botanicals Petal Polish Rose Face Mask - 1 oz Value $10

I love this product! But it really isn't a mask - after trying it out, I would describe it as just an exfoliator. The formula is very gentle and left my skin super smooth and soft! It's made with all organic and natural ingredients, and I like the rose + brown sugar scent.

Blissoma Scentless Stick Natural Deodorant - .75 oz Value $9

Yes! A natural deodorant in stick form! (The idea of applying deodorant with my fingers from a jar has just never appealed to me). I was skeptical with this deodorant (as I am with all natural deodorants), but I decided to try it out today. I've been wearing it for about 10 hours now, and it is working! No odor or sweating. I should call out though that I haven't done any exercise type activity, but for non-active use, I'm very happy with the results so far.

One other thing to call out, the instructions stress that you can't apply this until waiting several hours after shaving to prevent any type of skin irritation.

Mai Couture Blush Papers in Sunset Blvd and Prettyful - (4 Sheets total) Value $1.40

These blush sheets are paraben and talc free, and great one-time use products for travel. Here is the Prettyful shade rubbed on my wrist to give you an idea of how much color you get from one sheet:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $30.40. I think that's good for a $15 beauty box, and usually, Petit Vour sends out even higher value boxes! This is actually one of my favorite Petit Vour boxes though because of the product discover. I really love everything in this box! What do you think of the December Petit Vour box?

I let my subscription end without renewal last summer and I was glad because every other box seemed to have Box Naturals wipes in it. NO THANKS. Things have been looking much better lately so I bit the bullet and re-subbed. I’ve discovered some really fantastic brands through PV and I’ve missed them.

For those of you who like the Mai Couture blush sheets, they’re on sale 75% off (regular price $17.50 for 50 sheets, now $4.38) online at Ulta. They had four colors in stock. The highlighter sheets are also on sale for 75% off (regular price $28, now $7).

The deodorant ACTUALLY works, yay! Although I only wear it to sleep because I would hate for it to rub off on my pretty clothes. /: but it lasts through the night which is a BIG deal for me. Liz, was it you who reviewed another box with the “Lavanilla” stick? How do you think they compare?

P.s Am I the only one who abhors “tropical scents”? Pu

I love the glow stick. No it doesn’t glow, but it is the most delicious smelling thing ever! I am using it as a big, fat lip balm. I liked the other products. I feel like PV is sending out one free-bee type sample a month, so there are really only three samples. A little disappointed that they are doing this. But I always enjoy the things I get.

This was a mixed bag for me since I love the “mask” (I tried to use it that way but it was impossible unless you wanted to stand still and look up for 15 minutes to keep it on your face). FYI, the mask is quite tasty as it turns out since I accidentally ingested a bit when removing.

I also am already a big fan of Mai Couture and have carried their blush and highlighters in the leather case they sell for several years now. They come in pretty handy when away from home. The glow stick I got was very dry, had no shimmer and was totally unscented. So basically it’s dry, hard wax in a tube and useless to me. Good to know it wasn’t intended to be that way though since I do like the brand in general. I also haven’t been bowled over by the Blissoma products they’ve sent in the past. An unscented, rather dry and crumbly natural deodorant wasn’t likely to wow me and it ultimately didn’t (just tested it a moment ago). All said and done, even when I only like or use half the items it’s still worth the investment for brand discovery alone.

This was just a so-so box for me. I’m not sure I see the benefit of the glow stick. It does smell great, but is it really very moisturizing? I like the deodorant, and haven’t had any irritation (even after applying right after shaving). I wish they’d offer a couple of options with essential oil fragrances, though. I’ll have to try the blush papers on my next trip.

December was the first month that I recieved Petit Vour (or any subscription box–now I recieve Petit Vour, Cat Lady Box and Loot Crate) I am so pleased with this box. The glow stick smells so good. I apply it a few times a day mostly for the smell but it’s also good for moisturizing dry areas. I am really pale and the blush in prettyful is perfect for me. I plan on ordering these two products in the future. I discovered two items that I love and, for me, that is the point of the box and a big win.

I just had a good 6 month run with PV but don’t feel compelled to re-sub with them at this point. The makeup I’ve gotten, by and large, has not suited me. Not enough pigment, or colors too subtle or blah for me. I like the skincare stuff overall, but most of the time, I only get a few uses out of it or worse, just one use.

I will definitely keep my ear to the ground for LE boxes though. Those have been extraordinary.

Those blush papers look awesome! They’d be great for travel – I’ve never seen anything like them before.
I think PV has great products in their boxes, but honestly, I think my favorite part would have to be cute cards! I loved that cat one awhile back with the Eiffel Tower I think? and this one is really cute too!

I thought about subscribing to this box, but I just have way too many products right now. But love reading your reviews for them!

I like the glow stick — it’s subtle, but seems to give me a nice glow. I haven’t used the other products yet. I gave the peachy blush paper to my daughter because it’s more her coloring than mine, and she said it’s nice 🙂

I loved the blush papers! The deodorant actually works, but i wish it wasn’t so crumbly/gritty. The glow stick smells great but doesn’t seem to do anything for me.

Ditto on the glow stick not doing anything. I actually found it to be very dry in applying so I really don’t see me getting any use from it. Thanks for the crumble warning for the deodorant since I haven’t tested it yet. I tend to stick to my LaVanila natural brand since it’s also a stick/roll on and I love the scents; an unscented one just doesn’t appeal much to me.
