Graze 8-Snack Subscription Box Review + Free Box Coupon January 2016 - box

Graze
4.2 overall rating

Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. They offer over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences.

For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to trash snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.

Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.

This is a review of the 8-snack box, which is $11.99 per box.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The box is twice as thick to hold the extra 4 snacks, and it has a double layered tray system. This is the top tray of snacks.

And here is the bottom tray. While it's thicker than the 4-snack delivery, it still fits well in the mailbox.

Kettlecorn Kern Pops

Vitamin E Defense

Harby Bread Basket

Everything Bagel

Here is the first set of snacks. I'm a huge fan of everything Everything Bagel related, and these snacks are no different! While I knew I'd love those, I really like the herby bread basket - I could take a full shipment of just the garlic crostinis! I liked the kern pops, but I hit a couple unpopped kernels (which they do warn you of) and it dimmed my experience. Lastly, the vitamin E defense was ok - I'm not a fan of the peanuts.

White Chocolate with Wild Blueberry Toasts

Active Nutrient Blend

Honey Drizzle Cashews

Triple Berry Smoothie

This set of 4 snacks had the best snacks! The white chocolate dippers and honey drizzled cashews are amazing! Liz stole the triple berry smoothie before I could try it, and vouches for it as well! I can't speak for the nutrient blend snacks, though, I've yet to get to it!

Verdict: I love getting Graze snack each month, so much so that we've bumped up to the 8-snack delivery. And they go fast! I love the blondies and the flapjacks - and these were absent this month, that being said - I just discovered a bunch of new favorite snacks this month! I set my subscription up to randomly send all 8 snacks so that I can try out, and be surprised, by my snacks - I love it!

I had been receiving the the 4 snack box until I recently got an email that they were discontinuing it and switching everyone over to the 8 snack option. Just a heads up…

Is there nutritional info on each snack?

The info sheet that comes with the box covers the nutritional info for each snack, but it’s not on each snack package. Hope that helps!

I had the graze 8 snack box for a while. My problem was always there were 2-3 items I didn’t care for. Flapjacks rule, but the bread-y stuff just felt cheap, unhealthy and was sometimes stale tasting.

On their website you can mark the snacks you never want to get (rank as “trash”).

I’ve been wanting to try one of the snack box subscriptions for a while now. I just got my first Graze box today and was pretty disappointed with how tiny the snacks were. Sure, the snacks were good. But are those tiny portions really worth it? I am scheduled to try the 8 snack box for February, but based on this review, it looks like all of the portions are tiny. I will most likely cancel Graze, but hope to find a better option on your site!

I just got my introductory box last week and at first I thought the sizes were small. However, I have found that they are perfect to throw in my bag to take to work. Now, when I get those 2:00 munchies, I reach for one of these rather than the candy machine. They are the perfect size and I don’t feel as guilty eating a package, because it is portioned out. I also fly a fair amount so these will be great snacks for the plane or airport. Looking forward to my full subscription starting!
