WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - info

This is the information card that came in the package, detailing the items included this month. This month’s theme is “Temple Box.”

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - scarf

OM Scarf or Altar Cloth – Value $15

I don’t have an altar, but I am very happy to use this as a scarf! I love the color! I already have a prayer scarf in purple and one in white, but not yellow! One might ask how many prayer scarves is too many, and that’s a good question. I don’t know the answer, but I do know that yellow is good for the solar plexus chakra, so any time I am feeling either sick to my stomach, or feeling like I am not being assertive enough, this will be the accessory to grab.

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - garden

Mini Zen Garden and Buddha Figurine – Value $15?

(Please note that this link is for wholesale. I am using this to base my estimate on retail value.)

I love this! I used to have a desktop zen garden in college, and it is very calming. I have to say, as much as I enjoy crystals and symbols, etc., I have a special affinity for activities that help enhance mindfulness. Keeping a zen garden is definitely one of those activities. This is going straight on my desk!

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - citrine

Citrine Point Crystal – Value $12

Continuing what seems to be a focus on the solar plexus chakra is this lovely crystal! This is good for prosperity, too, which is something I think many of us focus on with the coming of a new year.

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - incense-soap

Song of India Incense Cones – Value $4.15

I tend to go easy on incense, but it’s very good for mindfulness because there’s little else you can think about aside from the smell! These smell really good, though.

R-Expo Copal Herbal Soap – Value $5.25

I love the lavender scent of this soap! It’s pretty intense!

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - incense-soap-2

I just thought the packaging on these were pretty, so here’s the other side. I also love that the incense says, “SMELLS JUST LIKE TEMPLES IN INDIA”.

WEvolve Subscription Box Review December 2015 - carpet

Hanging Carpet with Glass Eye – Value $9

Although this is called a carpet, it’s really a tapestry, and it’s only about 2″ by 8″. It’s beautiful, though! This is apparently a Turkish tradition for protecting against the evil eye. My Mom collects evil eyes, so I think I may put this in her gift bag for Christmas.

The Verdict: What a wonderful package from WEvolve! I think the theme was a good, unique one, and the items were thoughtfully curated. I like everything in the box! The cost of the box is a little more than what you might see in other similar subscriptions, but I think the quality of the items is a little higher. The value of the items included ($60) is a bit higher than the cost ($50), so I’m happy with that, but again, I think the curation adds to the value.

What do you think of WEvolve?

  1. I’ve never heard of this box but based on your review, I really like it. I’m more spiritual and have a few zen things around the house. I have something similar to the tapestry you received and I put it by the door above my key rack. This way I’m protected in and out of the house. 🙂
