I wanted to pass on a tip: I have subscribed and unsubscribed to FFF a few times now. Every time I unsubscribe I eventually get an email asking me to come back and offering a discount on the current box. I was offered 25% off the Winter box to resubscribe, so I did and will receive my box for $37.49 instead of $49.99. I did the same for the fall box and was able to get two at a significant discount even though I am not a new account holder and use only one email address for my account. In light of this, I don’t see the benefit in being a regular or year-long subscriber unless you want to be able to select your color/scent for a box item in advance (for yearly subscribers). The yearly discount isn’t any better than what o am paying by subscribing, unsubscribing, and then resubscribing with the discount they always offer me. I keep waiting for them to stop doing me the favor, but so far they keep doing it.

Yea, most of us have been doing this for quite awhile – we just don’t advertise it.

I have done the same thing. I wait to see what the full spoilers are and they usually offer me a discount in an email through a link. This last box I couldn’t find the email and did an online chat. The customer service rep made the adjustments while we typed. I cancelled again as soon as I received the box. I always comment during the cancellation that I will subscribe if they lower the price to $40 or the annual to $160.

Thank you ladies! I have the misfortune of loving subscription boxes but too poor to afford more than two (Birchbox and glossy). I did get the winter box and was debating whether to keep it at $49.

This is for new subscribers only.

Nope, not at all true. You can reactivate an old cancelled account to get this deal (this was in their emails they sent out several times) or you can buy an additional Winter box from their “store” on a current account and also get the same deal. I wish people wouldn’t post wrong info because that may cause someone to miss out.
