Yoshi Shirt - Value $10?
I'm loving this month's Yoshi/Mario inspired shirt! Let's be honest, you can't go wrong with Mario in a video game box, right? I love the style of the graphic, and Liz and I had just been talking about Yoshi in Super Smash Bros. for N64 the other day, so the timing couldn't be more perfect.
Nathan Drake Titan - Value $10?
I can't find this one anywhere online, not even the Titan site, so I went with the general price. This is timely as well since I was just talking a friend into buying the Uncharted Collection on PS4 since he hadn't played the originals. I'm so ready for Uncharted 4 - I'm a huge fan of the series, so this will be on my desk, for sure.
Here's a look out of the box.
K'NEX Angry Birds Mini Figure - Value $5.88 on Amazon
We received the red bird in this packet. Each packet has one character.
Mansion Key - Value ?
This is an exclusive item this month and is a call out to the classic Resident Evil series. These are replicas to the mansion keys used in the game - it's a pretty neat idea, and I can see them doing a lot of different types of replicas moving forward. One of my best friends was totally obsessed with this series, and I can still remember the first time the dogs jumped through the window at you in the first game. Good stuff.
Halo 5 Calendar - Value $7.61 on Amazon
That same friend is obsessed with Halo - so this will be a good month to give stuff to him!
The Master Cork: A Drink To The Past - Value $5-10?
The final item is also an exclusive item. This Zelda cork is inspired by 'A Link To The Past' - and is an easy gift for any Zelda fan!
Verdict: This was a good shipment for Arcade Block. I love the shirt, and while I'm not a huge Titan fan, my fandom for Uncharted overrides it. I think they're heading in the right direction with the exclusives, too. In the past, we've received 'Springz' instead of the cork, and the cork is cooler and more useful. The key replica is cool - and I think there are a ton of possibilities for video game replica items in future boxes! I will say, I miss the Retro Gaming magazine! We haven't received one since August, so I'm assuming it won't continue, which is a bummer.
