goddess-provisions-oct-2015-chocolate

Chocolita Blueberry Lotus Chocolate Bar - Value $5

This chocolate is listed as low glycemic - which is a good thing (I know), but not the best for someone who has a super sweet tooth! This wasn't my favorite chocolate, but I bet it would be appreciated by someone who has a more sophisticated palate.

goddess-provisions-oct-2015-candle

Pura Botanica Just Because Candle in Oh-So-Citrus - Value $13

These candles are made with soy wax and essential oils - yay! Plus it smells so good! The card doesn't indicate the scent, so I'm guessing there will be variation. I really want to try their Sweet Chai scent, so I will be swapping or buying it!

Meow Meow Tweet Repair Balm - Value $18

This is one of those lovely balms that melts as soon as it meets your skin. It is super moisturizing, and I love the natural earthy scent. (That goes for just about every Meow Meow Tweet product I've sampled).

goddess-provisions-oct-2015-tea

Third Eye Chakra Tea - Value $8.99

This tea has a strong licorice scent to it in the box, but when brewed it isn't too much for me! I always love getting new organic teas in subscription boxes, and with these teas, each tea bag has a different mantra on the tea tag!

goddess-provisions-oct-2015-mist

Amethyst - Value $5

From Goddess Provisions:

This amethyst was mined over 20 years ago and stored in a special reserve. Meditate with it on your Third Eye Chakra to help develop your intuition and connect with your guides.

Balanced Guru Energy Mist in Intution - Value $10

I've sampled quite a few Balanced Guru scents now thanks to subscription boxes, and this might be my favorite one. It is a mix of Palmarosa, Rosemary, Lavender, Lemon, Roman Chamomile, and Pine.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $60. That's almost double the cost of the box, and that's pretty great for the first box from any new subscription. I think their curation is really good, and I love that they are working with brands that use quality ingredients. What do you think of the first Goddess Provisions box?

I think they’re basically sending out some items that no one bought in their vegancuts store. I find it weird when they have ‘vault openings’, it’s basically old items, some from over 6 months ago. And all their special edition boxes are pretty much items we’ve seen in old boxes. I recently unsubscribed. I love the concept as a vegan but I feel that they’re just doing it for the $ now. Disappointing.

This is really similar to Yogi Surprise. That exact chocolate bar was in one of their boxes recently (maybe the anniversary bonus box?). And of course Balanced Guru shows up there all the time.
