The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn November 2015 Box is… Bedroom! More from GlobeIn:

The bedroom is a place of rest and renewal for our most quiet, private selves. It’s the place where we wake out of sleep and that we return to each night, back from the world, to dream and to love and to look in the mirror.

Tucked away from the public, the bedroom is a place that beckons us to soften. Each item in your box is aimed toward enhancing this room’s ability to nourish and revive, to return you to yourself through simple, personal pleasures.

And the full spoilers:

Each Bedroom Artisan Box will come with:

1) Seahorse Pillow Pet from Guatemala
Price: $22 (colors will vary).
2) Handmade Bud Vase from Nepal
Price: $12 (vases will come in the same size and color but in a few slightly different shapes.)
3) Handwoven Bowl from Mexico
Price: $10 (colors will vary).
4) Massage Oil Candle with Shea Butter from Ghana
Price: $5

Silk endeavors to make a statement through its products by sourcing only the most high quality, toxic-free, and ethically produced materials. So their selection of Global Mamas shea butter to produce your candle is no surprise.

This top-notch shea butter is the result of the arduous yet spirited process of Ghanaian women working intensively with nature’s materials. Many hands have gathered, sorted, roasted, and endlessly stirred to transform the meat of the shea nut into a rich, creamy butter to nourish your home and sustain their lives.

Enjoy some aromatherapy as well as a relaxing massage at the same time! Please blow out candle before using the melted liquid for a massage. The candle is made with the finest Organic Shea Butter, highest quality cosmetic grade Soy Wax, and scented with pure Essential Oils so it's safe to use on skin.

Do you have to be a member of the swap site to see what’s available/swap or just to list swaps? Would love a second seahorse (2 kids) but am not a member of the swap board.

I think the candle may have sold me on this. Ive never subscribed but have followed this box for a while. I’ve been on the fence with ordering this november box because I wasn’t thrilled with the seahorse and would probably swap it. But I loved the bud vase and think the little bowl should be a good piece for keys etc. but I love the candle (even though that’s the item of the lowest value)

Is there a way just to buy this month?

I’m not sure if you can buy just one box without getting into the subscription but it is super easy to cancel. I got last month’s box and then canceled by emailing them.

Good to know – thanks! 🙂

when i tried to cancel, i was required to wait until after i rec’d the box so i ended up having to contact them a few times…

Again, I’m loving this box and with the candle added just even more!! Globein has just been awesome and I have loved every box!!! They work hard to curate the boxes and the artists are just that awesome. It’s great to get items from other countries and the fact that they are made by individuals just trying hard to,support their families is wonderful!!! Couldn’t ask for more!!

I think the candle took this box from okay to great with me.

This looks like an awesome box! I was actually really worried after the first spoiler – I know everyone is gaga over the seahorse pillow but that’s just unnecessary clutter for me… but I’m really excited about the vase and candle!

SarahP, speaking of items focused on the act of sleeping, did you get the eye pillow a couple/few months ago? At first, I was like “what the heck is this?” so I looked it up online – was a little skeptical / uncertain and then finally tried it a couple times… now I LOVE it when I’m having trouble falling asleep!

I haven’t tried it yet! It’s still sealed up, on the “try or gift?” shelf. Your comment has me curious now, though…

I cancelled after my sub was up last month, but I’m having major regrets. Really trying to stay strong…

This looks like an exceptionally great box this month!

This looks like a great box. I finally gave in and subscribed. My plan is to wrap this box and December’s and put it under the tree for me. That way 1) nobody else claims any of the items and 2) I don’t feel that bad spending the money.

I would do this, but that’s already my plan for a Burke Box (the one with the throw), the holiday Glossybox, and the PSMH holiday box lol.

I wish I could do that – but I’m not strong enough!
And even if I did do that, my family would probably wonder why I have so many presents and then realize how many sub boxes I get!

LoL! that’s my plan too ^^

The inclusion of the Global Mamas’ sourced materials was the deciding factor for me to subscribe this month! I have visited Global Mama’s store in Accra, and they are amazing women doing great work. So glad GlobeIn chose one of their products!

Massage candle? Now that’s what I’m talking about! Normally I’m not big on candles, but I like the dual purpose of this. Seems like a good way to unwind. I still wish GlobeIn had focused more on the act of sleeping for this box, and less on the Bedroom itself… but I guess that leaves them open to make an amazing “Slumber” box sometime in the future.

It’s kind of sad that they need to remind people to blow out the candle before using the wax for massages….;)
