Collectible Geek is a geek box based around Funko Pop Vinyls. They used to have a subscription option, but recently ended that and only have one-time purchase caches.

This box was sent to My Subscription Addiction for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Collectible Geek Collector’s Cache

The Cost: $33.50, includes shipping.

The Products: “Each Cache comes with five meticulously chosen items from the staff at collectibleGEEK, featuring a different theme each month.”

Ships to: US and International (additional shipping costs)

Good to Know About Subscriptions: They've recently done away with subscriptions - so, if you love these boxes, you'll have to buy one each month!

Check out all of our Collectible Geek Collector’s Cache reviews and theCollectible Geek Swap Page!

They usually come with a card detailing the theme and items - this month, the card was absent.

Bride Of Frankenstein Shirt - Value $10?

The shirt this month featured the Bride Of Frankenstein. I like the general look of the graphic, even though the topic is not my favorite.

Wolfman Plush - Value $11.22 on Amazon

they included this big Wolfman plush as well. It stand 13" tall, which is pretty big for a plush, and it took up the whole box. Usually the dog steals plushes right away, but this one is about as big as he is, so he's not even trying!

The Invisible Man ReAction - Value $9.61 on Amazon

The Funko item (each box guarantees a Funko item) is this Invisible Man ReAction figure. I'm not a big fan of this Funko toy line, even though it does bring back memories of the toys I grew up with!

Dracula and The Mummy Cards - Value ?

These are 4x6 mini posters of classic horror icons. They printed on a nice thick card stock, so they're definitely ready for display!

collectors-cache-october-2015-magnet

Coffee From The Black Lagoon Magnet - Value $3-4?

The final item is this magnet. Not sure if there is an inside reference here, but I'm certainly not drinking any coffee from the black lagoon.

Verdict: Going in, I knew this wouldn't be my favorite box, because I'm not a big class horror guy - so right away I went in with low expectations. The value of the items probably exceeds the cost of the box by a little, but the items just weren't for me this month.

What did you think of the October CollectibleGEEK?

I love how the Wolfman plush is posed in that first reveal photo. It’s like he’s saying, “Here I am! Check out this cool stuff in the box with me!” I’m fond of classic movie monsters, so this box impresses me. I’ll have to keep an eye out for Collectible Geek.
