Shea Moisture Strengthen, Grow & Restore Styling Lotion - 3.2 oz Value $4.40
I love this styling lotion! It works for natural, chemically processed, color treated or heat styled hair, and it has a wonderful vanilla cupcake scent. Not only did it make my hair soft - now I can't stop smelling my hair! Once this sample runs out, I will definitely buy the full-size version!
Dove Quench Absolute Creme Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $5.99
I like that this product works on both dry and wet hair. It's designed quench hair dryness, seal hair cuticles, and tame frizz. I like the scent, and it's a lightweight formula. I think this serum is a good product to keep on hand for touch-ups throughout the day.
Jane Carter Solution Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner - 2 oz Value $2.25
The scent of this spray is barely there (good for me), and I like that this brand is vegan plus paraben and sulfate free. I tried the spray on dry hair, and it weighed my hair down a bit, so I'll stick to using this only post-shower.
Curls Creme Brule Whipped Curl Creme - 2 oz Value $2.75
This smells exactly how good I hoped it would smell with that name! I don't even know how they do it since the formula is free of artificial fragrances, colors, etc. It's designed to be used with damp hair that you let air dry for curls to define. My hair is naturally wavy/semi-curly, but I usually straighten it, so I tried this on dry straight hair, and it worked to add a little texture. (And make my whole head smell like a delicious dessert!)
Colgate Optic White Express White Toothpaste .75 oz Value $1
Aquaphor Healing Ointment - .25 oz Value $.50
These aren't the most exciting samples in the beauty box, but definitely good staples to have for travel or guests!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $17. I think that's great for a $5 box that includes a useful Target coupon! (I'm always happy with Target beauty box values). At first when I saw the spoilers for this box, I thought it was a little hair-product heavy, but I liked trying out each one of the hair products, and I think the sweet smelling ones are my favorites!
