Subscriber Discount from Gathered Table – 40% annual subscription
40% off an annual subscription is a nice chunk of cash to save, but it still means I have to 1) spend money on the subscription and 2) commit to a full year. I think a code for a completely free box or something would be more effective and appreciated as an item in a sub box.
Winnie The Pooh Waterproof Starter Bib From Bumkins – value: $4.95
This is a really cute bib! I couldn’t find this exact pattern online, but I did find another Winnie the Pooh bib to link to.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer – .5 oz (sample size), value: $11.25
Juice Beauty is a nice beauty/skincare brand. I’ve tried this product from them before and like this moisturizer alright, so I’m cool with having an extra.
Multi-Sensory Rattle from Kushies – value: $8.99
This rattle is plushie, designed to stimulate multiple senses and encourage dexterity, and has two different sides. Below is a photo of the orange side!

Farmyard Friends Activity Book from Manhattan Toy Company – value: $16
This book is adorable, and it includes a little finger puppet farmer that comes attached!

Citrus Lane Subscription Box Review & Coupon – August 2015 - items 5

The book has lots of different textures of material and parts that flip or are interactive.

The Verdict: The value of this Citrus Lane box comes out to $41.19 (not including any kind of value for the Gathered Table discount), which I’m happy with for this subscription. Unfortunately, there was nothing in this box that I was particularly excited about, but every item is really nice to either have on hand or, since I’m due any day now and am pretty set on things for my own son, add to my gift stash for my nephew who’s due in December!

My daughter is 10 months old and my box is not gender neutral. I also got the sample and coupon, which I trashed. However, I liked the other three items quite a bit. I got the “super bib” but mine was Minnie Mouse and very cute. I also got a cute growth chart of woodland creatures that I will hang in her room. The colors and animals were gender neutral and the blues and greens really complimented her room. It’s a thick cardstock and hangs up, but is designed to fold up for easy keepsake storage, which I like. The best item was an adorable tugboat that pours water. She loves it and it’s made of recycled products.

I cancelled citrus lane due to the amount of sample products and discount on items i have to spend money on. Too disappointing. Congrats on the baby.

I got the same box! I got it for a friend of mine for her baby shower, I signed up to get the Melissa and Doug fish bowl set which was pretty cool and a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I canceled the box after my first one, it wasn’t super exciting, I loved the book and rattle, but for $21 I could get more stuff.
