BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - info

Each box comes with an info card that has a nice quote printed on the opposite side.

BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - cards

In additiion to the info / quote card (right), they send a card with a pose on it every month. The Lotus Pose is a classic! That might be the first pose I ever learned, way back when I was a little girl.

BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - coffee

Marley Coffee “One Love” 100% Ethiopia Tirgacheffe – Value $10

I think tea is the hot breakfast beverage usually associated with all things New Age, but if you want me to get truly spiritual, please hand me some hot coffee early in the morning. I can’t wait to try this! Buddhi Box always sends a card with a vegan recipe on it, and this month they sent a recipe that goes with the coffee. Iced Coconut Marley Coffee – it sounds amazing!

BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - incense-shea

Satwa Premium Sandalwood Incense – Value $8

Wellsmith Shea Butter Tin – $6

I can’t usually handle too much incense, but this one has a nice scent with good depth and complexity. On the other hand, I can never have too much shea butter, so I was happy to get this tin. Plus it smells really good! Blackberry and sage! Sage is a great scent for aiding in concentration, so both of these products will be helpful with mindfulness.

BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - necklace

Jesse & Co. Lotus Necklace – Value $25

This is a cute little short necklace from Jesse & Co., which is the jewelry designer featured in BuddhiBox’s jewelry subscription box for August! It’s so nice to have a taste of Jesse & Co. jewelry in the regular box. I like silver, and the chain on this delicate necklace is very shiny!

BuddhiBox Subscription Box Review – August 2015 - extras

Get Your Buddhi on the Mat Magnet by My Mat My Mantra – Value $8

Chopra Center – Meditation Downloads – Value $7

I would never pay $8 for a magnet! Fortunately, I didn’t have to. This is cute and perfect for the refrigerator! I will definitely get my free downloads, and I will definitely use them, but am I the only one who has a hard time putting Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey together? Maybe it’s just me, but I am having a hard time adding Oprah to my mindfulness. I have tons of respect for her, but for some reason I am not sure I want her to guide me through my practice.

The Verdict: This was a really great BuddhiBox for me! It seemed to be centered around mindfulness, and I practice meditation almost daily. All these little accessories will help to enrich my practice, so that’s wonderful. I like that BuddhiBox encompasses both yoga and meditation, although I do with they would send more items directly associated with yoga. The value of this month’s items add up to $64, which is outstanding for a $31 package. I really love this subscription, and I use almost everything every month. I absolutely get my money’s worth.

What do you think of BuddhiBox?

:)

I loved this box, especially the coffee! Not my typical kind of box, but I subscribed last month because of the matcha, and I’m so glad I did. I’m liking the necklace (it doesn’t look cheap and flimsy, like so many sub box necklaces), but one question- anyone else think it may look like a pot leaf? I’m hoping someone confirms it doesn’t before I wear it to work!

I am pretty sure it is supposed to be a lotus (aha, the review even says so). But I can kind of see where you’re coming from, especially at first glance.

LOL!

This box would be a hit for me except for the coffee. We switched to being a tea only household after we discovered my SO’s migraines were triggered by coffee.
