Snap Back Ginger Detox Cookie from the Cookie Department – value: $2.07
Cherry Bomb Cookie from the Cookie Department – value: $2.24
I’ve tried this Snap Back cookie before, I think from Love With Food, and it’s good! I was excited about trying the Cherry Bomb flavor (especially because it’s gluten-free), and it was awesome. It’s a double-chocolate chip cookie with cherries in it.
Paper Towels Are Jealous Tea Towel – value: $12
I think a tea towel is a good idea to include in a tea box, especially for a month with a theme of reducing waste/being nicer to the environment. This one is 100% cotton, and I think it’s pretty cute.
Sencha Naturals Green Tea Mints – 1.2 oz, value: $4
Sencha Naturals Dragonfruit Green Tea +C – value: $1.49
Two Leaves and a Bud Organic African Sunset Tea – box of 15, value: $8.49
I like these mints – the flavor is a blend of organic matcha and sencha green tea with a touch of mint.
I’m really excited to try this Green Tea +C drink mix! It says it’s effervescent so I expect it to be a little fizzy. The flavor is dragonfruit, and the boost of vitamin C comes from cherries!
The info card describes this tea as a blend of rooibos tea, lemongrass, flower petals, and citrusy ingredients – sounds delicious to me! Also, the pyramid bags are compostable.
The Verdict: Once again, I love my Tea Box Express! Personally, this is my favorite tea-related sub box because it includes things that aren’t just tea, like snacks and accessories. As far as value goes, everything adds up to $30.29, so that breaks even with the cost of the box shipped. Part of me wishes there were a little more value, but since I like and will use everything, I’m okay with the value.
