Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – February 2015 First Look

Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my husband's style profile is "T-Shirt and jeans."

My husband has been subscribing for over a year now and in general is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – February 2015 Hoodie

Waring Hoodie - Retail Value $72

(50% Cotton 50% Polyester)

This hoodie has a good weight to it, and the fabric is very comfortable. I probably wouldn't have picked the faux leather lining on the zippers, but I don't mind it.

Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – February 2015 Henley

Amherst Henley - Retail Value $48

(50% Cotton, 50% Polyester)

I think the henleys and jeans Five Four sends are my husbands two favorite things from this subscription. I thought this looked a little too similar to other henleys we've received in the past, but this one is made with a thin sweatshirt material which keeps it different enough!

Verdict: This month is another hit for us. My husband likes each piece, and I think the items are definitely worth the $60 cost.

Do you subscribe to Five Four Club? What do you think of it?

Been a subscriber for 5 months, just got my fifth box today and I’ve got no complaints. It’s $60 like they say, not $60 and some extra like elsewhere. The clothes fit just right every time, the quality is amazing and the clothes look damn good. I get compliments every time I go out in something I got from them. I’ll probably a life long subscriber, these clothes coupled with the stuff I get from Jackthreads has started a superb collection in my closet.

This is my second month of Five Four, and my husband and I are totally thrilled with this sub! The clothing is a wonderful quality, and their ability to send us items that match his profile is truly on point.

And, yes, they ship with Newgistics, which is a lengthy trip. This month, I got the shipping notification on Feb. 20th. When tracking the package, it never showed any movement. It was as if the package arrived at Newgistics in CA then stayed there. On the 27th, I emailed their support about this. The same day, I got a response from Kendall saying that the package was in Copell, TX (the main post office hub for my area). While the shipping page never did update, the package arrived with the mail today. So expect it to take 10-14 days to arrive.

Worth it.

I was notified that my first box shipped on 1/24. I still don’t have it. Their tracking system offers no details. It only lists when it shipped and the destination. Is this the typical length of shipping time for their boxes, or should I give them a call?

They just switched to a new shipping provider (Newgistics) that takes forever to ship. If you have Birchbox or Glossbox they also use them and it takes awhile to get your package.

I got my February Birchbox last week! lol I just signed up for Glossybox, so I haven’t received anything from them yet. I’ll wait a few more days before I contact Five Four. Thanks for the info!
