BoxyCharm is a full-size and deluxe-size makeup and beauty subscription box. When they first started they were featuring drugstore brands like Revlon and L’Oreal, but lately they’ve been using mid-tier and high-end brands. (If you check out my earlier BoxyCharm reviews, you can definitely see the improvement in curation!)
This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process postto learn more about how we review boxes).

Mullein & Sparrow Facial Mask - 1 oz Value $15
This is a powder mask you mix with water to form a paste. It doesn't say how long you have to leave it on, but just enough to let it completely dry then wash it off. It's made with all organic ingredients so I can't wait to try it. (And the packaging is just beautiful!)
Jing Ai Velvet Shine Lip Jewel in Pink a Boo - FULL SIZE! Value $22
This lip crayon is moisturizing and provides a lot of pigment. The pigmentation would be good if I had received a different shade, but this Pink a Boo looks almost neon on my lips!
Modern Minerals Duo Fiber Mini Round Brush - Value $15
Mistura Beauty Solutions C-2-P Complexion Corrector - FULL SIZE! Value $30
This makeup brush is well made - the brush is super soft, and none of the strands came off when I was testing it out.
This concealer is designed to apply like a cream and turn into a powder finish. I tried it as an overall concealer and as an undereye concealer. For me, it is best suited for under eyes, and this tone works well to counter my dark circles. Most under eye concealers have a bit of a cream shine to them, so after applying I have to put powder over them. With this formula, it is instantly matte - which I love. I just tried this out, so I haven't given it the all-day test to see if it stays in place, but if it does - it will be my new favorite under eye concealer!
NCLA Nail Lacquer in Heart Attack -FULL SIZE! Value $16
I may prefer this over the Julep Hartleigh top coat that was in GlossyBox and Julep this month - I love that it is just pink and red hearts.
Verdict: Aside from the lip crayon, I'll use everything in this box. The total retail value of this box is about $98. I'm always impressed with the value Boxycharm delivers each month. (When it comes to value, they are one of those I-don't-know-how-they-do-it boxes like Little Lace Box). I also really like the brands they featured this month.
The one issue I see with this box is that the concealer is skin tone specific. I imagine it could work as a highlighter or contouring stick, but it isn't the same as being able to use the product how it was intended.
