Ipsy December 2014 Spoilers!

I can’t believe I am saying this (specially after being overloaded with mascara samples) being I am actually excited about this one. Maybe because I have been wanting to try the Tarte mascara for a while.

I have a little secret to share with yall!!!

I figured out how to possibly get as many ipsy points as you want using your phone (it just is a matter of how much time you’re willing to spend).

They send you the email to review your products in hearts. Open that & and give however many hearts to each product. When you are done, it redirects you to the ipsy home page. As soon as it sends you there, press the back button on your phone. For me, that sends me back to the heart rating page. You can do this over and over again, getting 25 points every time because it posts to your facebook wall. Your low star rated products wont post to your wall.

So if there is something that you really want and you know you’re never gonna get to 1000 points within a year, you can try this out if you have the time. ( I have a samsung galaxy 5 and it works for me). It takes me between 10 and 15 minutes to get to 1000 points. Or you can just do it up to like 250 or 500 points, so that way if they release one of their smaller point products, you can redeem.

Hope it works for some of you ladies! This is a way that you can actually get a reward you want without having to be a blogger or spam your ipsy link all over social media.

A lot of ladies on here and social media seem to be over getting masacras. I’m definitely not! It’s in fact my favorite thing to get. I haven’t purchased a full sized mascara since before summer, and I love that! I’ve tried soooo many different brands. On top of subscriptions, last month I redeemed all of my Sephora points on 8 different mascara samples. And almost every time I make an online order with Sephora, I use a code for a mascara mini if nothing else looks good.

I lost faith in ipsy a few months back & unsubbed, but I resubbed after seeing all the possible epic Sephora brands in November’s bag. I ended up with the Temptu as my high end and was sooooo disappointment. I contacted ipsy and they said every ipster has a one time offer to swap a product with another featured. I ended up still getting the Temptu in my bag, but I also got the Laura Mercier powder in a separate shipment.

Yesterday I used points to get the 2 bare minerals eye bases and the milani liner+mascara set. I have to stay a subscriber in december to get those products sent to me apparently, and now I’m totally fine with that! I got this sample mascara with the Tarte pearl eyelash curler I recently bought, and have yet to try it out but am still excited! The Nyx balms are exciting to me! I just hope I don’t get that light pink one.

I just cancelled my ipsy subscription last week. I was subscribed for two years and was impressed by the majority of the items I received. I just have too much makeup now…enough for me, my mom, and my sisters! This next glam bag definitely looks like one of the better ones!

Tarte is one of my favorite brands. This is one of my favorite mascaras. I have really loved all the NYX lip products can’t wait to try the lip balm. So far Decembers bag is looking great to me!

I love this spoiler. I love trying new mascaras. I hate paying obscene amounts of money for mascara and look forward to getting them in boxes. Even though I have a ton of lip products, I am excited to try the NYX lip balm. I just hope I get a color I can wear to work. For me, it already looks like December will be better than my November bag (I only liked one item).

I would love to get the mascara. I’ve been subscribed since May and the only mascara I’ve received was Be a Bombshell, which broke the second time I used it.

I can’t wait for the mascara! Weirdly… I haven’t gotten a single mascara in either of the subscription bags I’m subscribed to. Ha ha. Looking forward to the lip butter as well. I just hope it isn’t in to pale of a color. 🙂

I LOVE the NYX Butters. I use it everyday. My eyes are super sensitive to mascaras and I didn’t like this one.

I like both items, but I really hope I get a decent color in the lip balm. I would hate to get a horrific color like the coral or dark purple. I would like one that is practical for everyday use. Just my two cents.

Love getting mascara! You can never have too many in my opinion lol. I’m a fan of NYX and haven’t tried their butter lip balm yet so I’m looking forward to that. So far looks like a great bag! 🙂

I’m so not excited for the mascara. I have owned this mascara previously, and I don’t know if it’s because it’s a mini-version or what, but I don’t like it. I was so excited and in love with the Urban Decay mascara awhile back, that I know this one is going to be a disappointment for me.
Also is it just me or do the NYX lip balms look like a chapstick versus what we are coming to know as “lip balms” aka chubby sticks?
Not sure I’m excited for December, especially after the fail of the last two months. If Ipsy doesn’t bring it this month, I’m sadly ending my service with them.

After the crushing disappointment of November’s box I’m not holding my breath that December will be great. I used one thing from November’s box and hated everything else, I changed my survey so I’m hoping that helps for December’s box. I don’t care for NYX products at all and have enough lip balms thanks to Lip Monthly, not too excited for December’s Birchbox or Ipsy’s spoilers.

I love getting mascara in boxes. I wish every box had one so I’d never run out. Is there a way to bypass the wait list these days for Ipsy? I think I’d like to get my niece a three month sub.
