Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Lip Stain

Aromi Liquid Lipstick in Flamenco Red - FULL SIZE! Value $17

Unfortunately for me this is a little too bright red for my skin tone, but I do appreciate that it is full size and a brand that is new to me! One their site they also have helpful images of what this lip stain looks like in matte and with a gloss top coat. (I'm guessing from the card that subscribers either get the lip stain or the lip gloss).

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Deep Steep

Deep Steep Hand Cream in Brown Sugar Vanilla - FULL SIZE! Value $10

I love Deep Steep products (they are free of all the potentially harmful ingredients I try to avoid especially in lotions), so this hand creme is a win for me - and the scent is great too!

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Hello

Harvey Prince Hello Perfume - Sample Value $2

Paula's Choice Resist C15 Super Booster - 3.5 ml Value $8

Reading the reviews of this Super Booster serum on Birchbox, I was thinking it would smell horrible, but it just smells like any other skincare serum to me.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $37 - not bad for the $15 a month cost. I like that there were two full size beauty products, and while I would have preferred to not receive another Harvey Prince perfume since there was one in last month's box, I still think this is a good box. What do you think of the May Petit Vour box?

I got my first box yesterday… Instead of the cleanser I received a full size Yogini perfume roller-ball! The value of that alone is $21.00! I am very happy with this box. I will use everything except the nail polish (I get no-chips done at the salon). If anyone wants my NCLA polish, please let me know!

I think you must be talking about the June box (which I also got yesterday). It was my first box, too, and I’m happy with it.

I received the lip gloss in red, which is a really vibrant, rich color. It’s a bit too cool for my skin tone, so I warm it up with a chestnut brown lip liner and blend. The color payoff is beautiful! It really lasts a long time as well. I checked out the website, and they definitely have some great shades in lipsticks & glosses. I will be purchasing from them again. I got the Deep Steep in Lavender, but it really wasn’t my bag-neither was the Harvey Prince nor the serum. I gifted all of those. But that gloss is the bomb to me.

I really liked this box. I didn’t get a gloss but instead a dark purple lip stick. I’ve been wanting this serum. And I can always use hand cream. I like that the perfume is a spray and I can toss it in my purse or gym bag. Way worth the 15.

At first I was a disappointed that I got a lip gloss, but I really like Aromi’s formula it’s not sticky or too slick at all. The color I got was Rouge which I like for my skin tone. I love matte lipsticks so I’ll probably end up buying a tube. My hand lotion has a lavender scent which is a little too heavy for me but I’ll probably keep it to put on at night. Everything else I put up for swap I’ve gotten way too much Harvey Prince perfume in boxes lately.

I got this box yesterday, it is great. I got the lip gloss in a purple color, which is perfect for me. It has a pretty shine to it, no gross smell or taste. The hand cream smells like fruity pebbles to me. A fun smell, yet not noticing any grapefruit in it. The other 2 items I swapped, just because I don’t need anymore face products or perfumes. For the price the value and products are great.

I like the red color. But I’ve promised myself no new boxes unless I quit one or more of the ones I already get. (Also I have a LOT of red lip products after the HauteLook bag.)

Petit Vour is my favorite beauty box. My lippie was too bright as well, but I appreciate being introduced to Aromi. For Cmas gifts this year, I’m going to do gift sets featuring my favorite cruelty-free brands that I’ve discovered through Petit Vour. Deep Steep smells SO GOOD, it will def be part of the Cmas beauty boxes!
