Who founded Allure Beauty box?

Founded in 1991 by Linda Wells, Allure magazine became one of the most popular women’s multimedia brands with a focus on beauty, fashion and women’s health. Previously the editor-in-chief of NYLON, Michelle Lee, took over as editor in chief in November 2015. Allure’s dedication to bringing women the best beauty tips, trends, and products brought along the concept of “Best of Beauty” awards program in the mid 1990’s. Allure began reviewing and awarding products chosen by magazine editors and readers to help women find the best makeup, skincare, and haircare products. Allure ensures that all awards are selected by a neutral audience by separating Allure’s ad department from all “Best of” votes. In 2017,  Adweek awarded Michelle Lee “Editor of the Year” and named Allure “Magazine of the Year.”
