PinkSeoul Plus Box Review November/December 2025

Big favorites, a few surprises, and one total flop — here’s how this month’s PinkSeoul Plus box actually performed on my skin.

This month’s box hit me with a few familiar favorites; you know exactly what you’re getting and why you love them. There was also an unexpected accessory that made the whole curation feel a little more fun and gift-y. Let’s get into what worked… and what didn’t.

PinkSeoul Plus is a bi-monthly Korean beauty subscription box curated for your skin type, featuring full-sized products to help you build (or refine) your routine as you go. You can also browse their online store, which is dangerous if you’re easily tempted by shiny new serums.

PinkSeoul offers two subscription types:

  • The PinkSeoul Box is $39.95 every two months, with a retail value of over $60.
  • The PinkSeoul Plus Box, recommended for subscribers age 35+, is $49.95 every two months with a retail value of over $80.

Each one ships every other month and includes at least four full-sized items plus an accessory.

This review is of the Combination Skin Type PinkSeoul Plus Box, which costs $49.95 every two months.

What’s Inside

Etude Ppoyan Cleansing Foam – Retail Value $12.99

This cleanser looks amazing on paper… fermented rice, barley, and soybean are such classic K-beauty ingredients for brightening and smoothing.

But this is a true foaming cleanser, and my combo skin felt it immediately. It removes makeup well enough, but it also leaves that squeaky-clean feeling… and I’m just not a squeak girl.

With daily use, I know this would lead to dryness and irritation. Great ingredients, just not the texture or finish I want from a first- or second-cleanse.

Tovegan White Wholesome Cleansing Balm – Retail Value $20.00

I’ve used this balm before and still think it’s one of the most reliable, no-drama cleansing balms if you wear makeup. It melts everything easily — mascara, eyeliner, sunscreen — and it never stings my eyes, which is a big one for me.

The emulsification is strong, too, so it rinses off cleaner than most balms. I still recommend following with a water-based cleanser, but this is one I always finish.

Jumiso Snail Mucin 95 + Peptide Facial Essence – Retail Value $15.60

A staple. If you’re a snail mucin person, this is the simple, soothing kind you keep reaching for without thinking about it. It’s lightweight, refreshing, and instantly calming on irritated or sun-stressed skin. It won’t give you dramatic overnight results, but in the long term, it absolutely helps with a smoother texture and that “quietly radiant” look that K-beauty does so well.

Earth Harbor Mermaid Milk Moisturizer – Retail Value $42

This one hurt. All ingredients looked really exciting: matcha, spirulina, aloe juice, and blue tansy. But natural formulas can be temperamental, and this one just didn’t survive the journey. Mine arrived smelling off, with a grainy, separated texture that was definitely not usable. I had to toss it, which is always disappointing for the hero-priced item in a box.

Round Lab Soybean Panthenol Mask – Retail Value $3.99

Round Lab masks rarely miss. The material hugs the face perfectly, so you’re not fighting with slippage while you try to do things around the house. This one was especially soothing; panthenol is amazing for calming redness, and I felt that instantly after testing other products. A really good rescue mask.

SNP Prep Peptaronic Mask – Retail Value $1.70

First time trying SNP’s Prep line, and I liked this one more than expected. Great fit, solid hydration, and it stayed in place the whole time. It’s not a life-changing mask, but it delivered what it promised: a quick moisture reset.

Willow Collective Purse Hanger – Retail Value $12

Not skincare, but honestly adorable. It felt like a little bonus treat in the box, and I’m not mad at that.

Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $49.95 bi-monthly

Retail Value: $108.28

Even with the moisturizer failure and a cleanser that didn’t work for my skin type, the rest of the box carried it. The cleansing balm and snail essence alone justify most of the cost, and the sheet masks were excellent this round. Overall, this month felt worth it to me, practical, useful, and with a few items I genuinely enjoy having back in my routine.

Definitely contact the box company for a new moisturizer. Many companies will send a new one.
