I love how Nourish Beauty Box keeps it simple; there is no literature that I feel pressured to read, just four full-sized products looking back up at me.
Now, on to the items!

Honeysucc’l Jo’s Lustre Balm - Retail Value $38
After a shower in the summer heat, I love to reach for one easy hair product, smooth it on, and go about my day. This is that one product. I applied a dime-sized amount on my damp shoulder-length hair and brushed it through my strands. This truly weightless product eliminated the few stubborn frizzy hairs that usually pop up when I don't blow-dry my hair, and I was really satisfied with the body and shine it left, even after just air-drying. Not only did it make my hair look more polished, but it has nourishing ingredients like sunflower seed extract, argan oil, and coconut oil to hydrate and strengthen my hair.
Nourish Naturals' Cocoa Glaze in "Guru" - Retail Value $22
I love everything about this glossy stain, except for the color. It checks all the boxes for me, as far as lip color goes: it has a shiny finish, hydrating ingredients like shea and coconut oil, and is effortless to apply, but unfortunately, this warm bronze shade is neither my tone nor vibe. I am hoping that I can make it work by layering or mixing some products, because it is such a lovely product.
Kaleido Cosmetics' Dreamlust - Retail Value $12
I've always had a love/hate relationship with primers, but recently, either my skin has matured to a point where they don't trigger breakouts as much or the formulas are just getting better and better... maybe both! I seem to enjoy them a lot more, especially this version. It distributes easily without needing more than a pea-sized amount, and it doesn't dry down completely, so you're left with a velvety layer that gives the skin a dewy finish, even under foundation.
Lovesong Beauty's Weightless Leave-In Conditioner - Retail Value $36
Immediately, I had so much hope for this leave-in conditioner; I've never tried one with such a thin, slippery texture, and I love it! It really did feel weightless; my hair looks shiny and feels very soft. Even though this conditioner is full of hydrating oils like evening primrose, jojoba seed, and sunflower seed, it did not weigh my hair down.
Verdict
This month's Nourish Beauty Box was a breath of fresh air. It really focused on nourished, hydrated skin and hair, and I was really pleased to see a few new brands this month. While I don't think I have the best skin tone to pull off this month's lippie, I think I can totally make it work by laying a base color down first; I am willing to put in the work because I think Nourish Naturals has one of the best glossy lip formulas. I also love this month's hair products, and the face primer seems promising, too! August's box has a retail value of $108; you're getting four full-sized products for $39.95, a fantastic deal for anyone looking to expand and enhance their natural beauty arsenal on a budget.
