7 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your FabFitFun Subscription

One of the reasons we love FabFitFun is because there are so many benefits and additional options for your subscription. (If you're new to FabFitFun, check out our intro guide to learn more about this women's lifestyle subscription.) And since there is so much to a FabFitFun subscription, there are some perks and hacks you may not be aware of, so we thought it would be helpful to round up all our tips in one place!

FabFitFun Tip 1: Use Favorites in your Add-On + Edit Sale Shopping Strategy

If you've shopped Add-On and Edit sales before, then you know that a lot of items can "sell-out" on the first day and sometimes even the first few minutes of the sale. In this case, "sell-out" really means other members have reserved those items in their cart. (There is no checking out. Every item you add to your cart will automatically be charged to your card at the end of the sale.)

Because of this system, a lot of FabFitFun members will go back to the Add-On sale on the last day to edit down their cart before they are charged. This means that a lot of the inventory for the popular "Sold out" items will come back on the last day/last hours of the sale. Here's an easy way to keep track of the sold-out items you want:

When browsing the sale, mark any sold-out item you want as a favorite by clicking the heart in the upper right corner. Then, any time you check back on the sale, sort by your favorites to instantly see all the items and spot the ones that are back in stock. (There are usually hundreds of items in the sale, so this is a great way to see back-in-stock items ASAP!)

FabFitFun Tip 2: New subscriber? Go with the $10 coupon or wait for a GWP Bundle

You can always save $10 off your first FabFitFun box with coupon code MSA10, but you can also get a free "gift with purchase" bundle during certain times. These gift with purchase bundles usually have a value of $100 or more, include 3 full-size items, and happen about once a month. Check our FabFitFun coupons to see if there's a current GWP offer.

FabFitFun Tip 3: Existing seasonal subscriber? Wait until the next season to upgrade to annual for perks.

If you've been thinking about upgrading from a seasonal to an annual subscription (you'll be able to select 5 items in each box instead of 3, plus other perks), it pays off to wait.

Before the upcoming Add-On Sale for the next season, FabFitFun usually offers seasonal subscribers a $10 free Add-On credit if they upgrade. Just keep an eye on your email for that offer! Wondering when you should expect it? That brings us to the next tip!

FabFitFun Tip 4: Keep tabs on the FabFitFun Events page.

This tip is pretty straight forward, but if you weren't aware this page existed, it's a pretty great find! Not only will you find all upcoming dates for edit sales, spoiler reveals, etc., but also billing dates.

FabFitFun Tip 5: Check out FabFitFun Offers every season.

Another FabFitFun subscriber perk you might not be aware of: almost every brand featured in the box will include a discount for subscribers and you can find it on this page. And you'll also find offers from some brands that weren't featured in the box but that FabFitFun thinks subscribers will enjoy. Some of the discounts are usually pretty good, and we've spotted a few completely free offers over the years, too.

Here's an example of a current free offer for Scribd:

FabFitFun Tip 6: Use FabFitFun TV for free workout and cooking videos.

An additional perk to your FabFitFun subscription is access to all their exclusive video content. The fitness/wellness category is the most filled out, with sections for Pilates, Dance, Cardio, Meditation, Yoga, and more. (And it's available on Roku and other streaming devices, too.)

FabFitFun Tip 7: Even if you're already a subscriber, you can still get Members Picks/Editors Boxes.

When a seasonal box sells out, new subscribers will get a special box as their first box when they sign up. (This is referred to as an Editors Box or Members Picks Box. See an example, here.) If you're already a subscriber, you will not get this box. But if you want it, there is a way!

If you're already a subscriber, you can buy one or more of these boxes for $49.99 each in the shop section of FabFitFun. You'll be able to make your customization choices just like you would for a normal seasonal subscription box, too. (If you are an annual subscriber, make sure to contact FabFitFun customer care before purchasing - you may be able to select items from additional categories.)

And that rounds out our tips for making the most of your FabFitFun subscription. Anything we missed? Any strategies you recommend? Let us know in the comments!

Side note, I miss when MSA did giveaways. I just realized it’s been a while without any when it used to be weekly.

Do they ever offer add-on credit to non-subscribers jumping to annual? I’ve been seasonal off-and-on over the years, and it was always a disappointment to not get what you want, so I’d only go for annual now if anything. I’d want to maximize what I can get, though, dropping $200 upfront. I wonder when the best time to sign up for annual is.

You forgot about the perks of the FFF community that offers sneak peeks, contests, cooking club, book club, gift and greeting card exchanges and so much more.

I had a survey from FFF the other day and one of the questions asked what 3 words I think of when I think of FFF. One of the words I gave was Discount. I am using a lot of my FFF stuff to give to tween girls for Christmas, though.

I had an an annual the last couple years and rarely missed an edit or add on sale, but FFF has lost its luster for me and I canceled when my annual was over. I really hope they return to their former glory.

Tip 8: Check out TJMaxx and Marshall’s for the same items.

I love Tip 8!

Oh, and you’d get your stuff fast, not 45 days after you’re charged.

Full sympathy to all those whose information was stolen. That sucks big time, as does the denial from FFF.

Dea, I was just thinking the same thing. My information was stolen and I am still dealing with it. Just not worth it to subscribe to anything anymore.

Dea

And you can pay cash and not risk your credit card info! And the employees at TJMaxx and Marshall’s won’t bug you with annoying emails five times a week!

Kay

LOL yep! And that way you only end up with what you actually want anyway 😛
