BREO BOX Plus Review Summer 2025
Summer is almost officially here, and I am sooooo ready for it! Sure, the calendar says we’ve got seven more days to go, but I’ve been in full-on summer vacation mode for two weeks now—and I’m loving every second of it. Honestly, what’s better than sleeping in, youth baseball, and finally tackling that to-do list? (Okay... maybe one thing: getting this quarter’s BREO Box!) Keep reading to see what’s inside and why it’s making my summer even sweeter!
Just like the Spring 2025 box, the summer edition came packaged in two sturdy cardboard boxes and a handy cloth sack. Everything arrived safe and sound, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! Side note—these cardboard boxes are perfect for wrapping gifts, and the cloth bags have been a lifesaver for hauling home dirty laundry from trips and conferences. In fact, mine is already packed and ready to go! Yay for reusable packaging!
Kicking off this quarter’s box, we received a sturdy card with a QR code. Scanning it takes you straight to the BREO Box website, where you can check out all the included items! From detailed descriptions and retail values to photos and extra info, it’s the perfect way to learn about everything in the box and how to use it. Super handy!
Hoto Electric Air Pump ADV - Retail Value $59.99
I have to admit, when I peeked at the spoilers for this season’s box, I was really excited to see the electric air pump included. While we already have a large air compressor in the garage, this portable version is so much easier to use—and it worked great for inflating our pool toys and mini hoop balls. With five different settings (yes, even for car tires!), this compact, cordless tool is surprisingly powerful. The high-pressure output makes inflating quick and effortless, and the built-in auto-stop feature adds a nice layer of safety. It runs on a high-capacity lithium battery and recharges easily with the included USB cord. And if that wasn’t cool enough, it even comes with a built-in light—perfect for late-night inflations or those hard-to-see spots. I haven’t tested it on a car tire just yet, but we’ve put it to work on plenty of other things, and it’s been super easy to use and carry around. Right now, it’s tucked into my glovebox just in case—and honestly, I feel a little more prepared knowing it’s there!
MPOWERD Luci Solar String Light 18' - Retail Value $54.95
The second item we received was another really cool one! Packed neatly in a round plastic container, this 18-foot string of lights is both solar-powered and USB rechargeable. With three different light tone settings, they’re perfect for outdoor use and camping adventures. We recently got new mattresses for our boys, and since the hybrid models need 48–72 hours to fully “fluff” up, the kids have been camping out on their old mattresses in a tent. We strung up these lights, and it made for the most fun evening! With up to 20 hours of battery life, the kids absolutely loved the cozy glow and have already added them to our must-pack list for our next outdoor trip!
ShooAway Original Fly Fan - Retail Value $14.95
I’m definitely getting summer vibes from the products so far—and it just keeps getting better with the addition of the fly fan! We host quite a few backyard barbecues, and bugs are usually a big problem. This little gadget helps keep those pesky insects away with soft, spinning blades—no chemicals, swatting, or constant shooing required! It runs with a quiet hum that won’t interrupt conversation or fun, and it's totally safe to use around kids. The blades aren’t sharp, so if someone accidentally bumps into it, your barbecue won't be ruined. Plus, the shiny dots on the blades help repel flies—and surprisingly, it really seems to work! The weather hasn’t exactly been summer-like yet (I’m literally wrapped in a blanket wearing a sweatshirt and socks as I write this), so we haven’t seen many bugs just yet—but I know this will come in handy very soon!
Statik Snap-N-Charge - Retail Value $29.99
I’ll be honest—I’m a bit of a phone charger junkie, so I was instantly obsessed with this Snap-N-Charge device. Even though I recently got a new iPhone, my excessive Pandora and Audible habits mean my battery is always on the brink of dying. This magnetic power bank fits three different charging port types and attaches easily via magnet. No cords, no mess—just a sleek, compact charger that slips right into your purse and is ready whenever you need it. It charges quickly, too! I’ve already used it several times, and it works like a charm. Consider me impressed!
KeySmart Nano Stylus - Retail Value $6.99
The next item we received was a small one—but definitely a good one! It’s a stylus keychain that works with a variety of devices. Perfect for scrolling, texting, or browsing the web, it glides smoothly across screens and keeps your devices smudge-free. My son has a tablet and has already put this to good use. Thanks to the keychain feature, you can attach it to your keys to avoid losing it… though I think my son has already claimed it for himself. Simple but super useful—this was a great addition to the box!
Kaffe Cold Brew Coffee Maker - Retail Value $27.99
My 10-year-old loves a little decaf in the morning, so he was soooo excited when I received a cold brew coffee maker! With a sleek glass design and a 1.3L capacity, it makes enough to last us a few days. It’s super easy to use—just fill the mesh filter with coffee grounds, cover with water, steep it in the fridge overnight, and boom: cold coffee ready to pour the next day. Thanks to its slim design, it fits perfectly in our fridge door, and Charlie has already been Googling recipes to make ultra-fancy cups of cold brew. This has already come in handy more than once, and I’ve even convinced my sister-in-law to get one for her fridge. Such a fun and practical inclusion—love it!
KeySmart RecoverID - Retail Value $9.99
The last item we received was, honestly, the only one I don’t plan on using. It’s a RecoverID tag that links to an online recovery profile—so if someone finds your lost item, they can scan the tag and return it to you. You just register it online and attach it to your luggage or keys. To be honest, it’s not something I really need in my life right now, but it’ll make a great prize for our Christmas dice game!
Value – Was This Box Worth It?
Absolutely! I absolutely love summer, and this season's BREO box encompassed all things to do with this beautiful season. This box was a nice mix of tech, backyard bbq, camping, and delish, to make all of the events easier. Each item we received was high quality and I appreciated this box not having a "hero" item that was valued significantly higher than the other items. This quarters box contents retailed at over $200, and contained items I never knew I needed. The coffee brewer, lights, air compressor, and charger were my favorite, but I really enjoyed everything. Discovering new items is a thrill for me, and if discovering new techy items before your friends is your jam, I highly recommend this box! I'm already looking forward to the Fall BREO Box.
