First Impressions
It’s October, and officially black cat season! I love how CatLadyBox always embraces this theme for the spooky month. Although I have tabby cats now, I’ve had a few black kitties over the years, so this theme holds a special place in my heart. My new kittens, Chester and Daisy, are obsessed with CatLadyBox, and it’s been so much fun watching them play with and enjoy all their new toys!
This month's CatLadyBox arrived, and I couldn't wait to see what the kittens thought! The toys were a huge hit, and, as always, we loved the lifestyle items!

Although I love most animals, cats are where it's at for me! Seeing this black cardboard box with the kitty silhouette, is a highlight of my month. Packaged in white tissue paper held together by a sticker, it presents as a lovely gift that has the potential to hold anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more, plus you'll get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
Along with the goodies, this box included an information sheet—and guess what? The custom artwork is back! This month’s postcard features an adorable black cat theme, with little black kitties in a variety of playful poses scattered across the design.
The artwork is whimsical, colorful, and fun, making it the perfect addition to the growing collection on my fridge!

My husband and I play a lot of cribbage, and last night we spent some time teaching our 11-year-old son, Charlie, how to play. This deck arrived at the perfect time, as our current cards are getting so worn that I can recognize some of the fives! The new set features adorable cat artwork, which makes it especially appealing to Charlie, whose kittens are his pride and joy. He had so much fun learning the game with this fresh deck, and it was a lovely way to spend the evening together!

This month, we received two kitty toys. The first was an adorable catnip-filled ballerina kitty wearing a tutu! Both cats loved sniffing it and carrying it around by its skinny tail and tutu. The costume fit the Halloween theme perfectly and provided plenty of playful fun. The kids thought it was especially cute and enjoyed taking the kittens outside to play with it, watching them pounce and scamper through the fall leaves!
Kitten's Brew Cauldron Wand Toy - Retail Value $7.99
The last item we received was definitely the kitties’ favorite! They love wand toys, and this Kitten’s Brew cauldron wand, with its stretchy cord and feathers, was a huge hit. These little beasts get pretty wild during playtime, so we took them outside where they had plenty of room to chase and pounce. They loved darting after the toy and were completely tuckered out by the end of our play session. They had so much fun!
Aren't these little dolls the sweetest?! The kids and I have been having so much fun with them!
