September is here, and today marks the very last day of summer vacation. Typically, we would already be back in school by this point, but thanks to the late Labor Day holiday, we were able to enjoy a full week off in September.
I have such mixed emotions about this time of year. Fall is my absolute favorite season, and I’m always excited for everything that comes with it, but I also can’t help wishing I had gotten a little more time to truly relax and rejuvenate this summer before heading back to school. So, I decided to make today all about self-care—and this month’s Vellabox arrived at exactly the right time to help create the soothing atmosphere I needed.

Hudson Park "Whipped Honey Butter" - Retail Value 38.00
Last month’s “Making Muffins” candle scent was seriously hard to beat. Nothing screams fall to me quite like a baked good, but this month’s “Whipped Honey Butter” might just have it beat! Featuring notes of golden honey, sea salt, vanilla, caramel, butter, and warm spices, this blend fills the air with the most amazing warm, spicy scent. With a decent scent throw, it carries beautifully through our kitchen and living room, creating the coziest atmosphere.
My husband, who is very fussy when it comes to candle scents, actually enjoyed this one and didn’t even blow it out when he got home from work! I also loved the pretty amber jar with its simple beige label. The little clip-art honey jar was such a lovely touch, and the candle looked especially pretty burning next to my vase of flowers.
Made with soy wax and premium fragrance oils, this is a candle I genuinely can’t recommend enough. With an 80-hour burn time, I’ll have plenty of cozy, relaxing moments to enjoy before it’s gone. ❤️

Typically, I set my candles on a coaster before burning them, so this month’s candle rug set was such a fun inclusion! Featuring two mini ornate rugs, these little beauties have a rubber bottom and delicate fringe, making them look like fancy little Barbie rugs—but for your candles!
Not only do they help protect surfaces from heat and wax, but they also look absolutely adorable. They’re such a fun little addition to any candle display and add a playful touch to your space!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription and one I look forward to receiving every single month. Since I burn candles almost daily, it's important to me that they're free of toxins and other harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small-batch brands that are not only safe to burn but smell absolutely incredible, too!
This month's "Whipped Honey Butter" candle was pure perfection, adding a comforting touch to my last day of summer vacation. With the addition of the curated Spotify playlist and the adorable candle rugs, this month's box truly felt complete.
