VIP: 100% PURE Black Tea Grass Jelly Antioxidant Serum - Retail Value $60
I've used 100% Pure products a lot in the past, and I've always really enjoyed their vegan and cruelty-free formulations. Their skincare seems to be sensitive-skin-friendly, so I am always eager to test out their stellar products.
Concentrated antioxidants from Puerh black tea protect the skin from environmental stressors. Grass jelly hydrates, Tiger grass soothes, and together they help maintain a balanced and refreshed complexion. I was surprised by how runny this serum was; I was expecting more of a jelly consistency, but once I opened the tube, it immediately started dripping. I like that it sinks into my skin immediately, but I'd rather have a pump or tapered tube so I don't waste this precious $60 serum.
100% PURE Retinol Restorative Neck Cream – Retail Value $60
I've been toying with the idea of buying skincare for my neck, and now I don't have to! Retinol is such an effective anti-aging ingredient, and this cream doesn't stop there. Hydrolyzed quinoa promotes elasticity, niacinamide brightens, and hyaluronic acid hydrates. This cream really has it all.
The thick texture of this cream is also very satisfying; I wish I had enough to use all over! Luckily, a little bit goes a long way, and I will be savoring every last drop given its steep $60 price tag.
UpCircle Eye Cream – Listed Value $22
This box is a mother of two's dream. Honestly, I feel like it was curated just for me, because your girl needs some undereye TLC. The undereye skin is so delicate, so I am always on the hunt for dermatologist-approved treatments that (hopefully) help to suspend aging and brighten tired eyes and dull skin.
Maple bark extract is an anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps to depuff, and hyaluronic acid keeps your skin hydrated. This eye cream also features coffee oil extracted from repurposed grounds that helps to brighten the undereye area, making you appear bright-eyed and well-rested. This cream is medium-thick, and I enjoy the mild coffee aroma that wafts about as I dab it on in the morning and at night.
100% PURE Creamy Long Last Liner in Dark Cacao – Retail Value $27
It has been a long time since I reached for a matte brown eyeliner, but it is definitely a staple. This one applies smoothly, with no tugging or pulling at my eyelids, and it wore without smudging or fading for about 6 hours.
The Aroma Shop Organic Rose Argan Hair Mist — Retail Value $19.50
Sometimes it is hard for me to find hair products that don't weigh my hair down or leave my scalp feeling greasy by the end of the day, but despite all of the oils in its ingredients list, this weightless mist is the perfect fit for my no-fuss hair regimen. It contains argan, rose, tea tree, peppermint, pine, and rosemary oils, yet it is light as a feather in my hair. You can use this on wet or dry hair as a refreshing mist that hydrates and smells rosy, or concentrate it on your scalp and massage it in for a purifying and hydrating treatment.
Verdict
Love Goodly's August/September curation helped me focus on preventative, anti-aging products I was missing from my current skincare routine. I am now hooked on an expensive neck cream, and I realized how much of a difference a luxurious eye cream can make. I love that every product is eco-friendly and cruelty-free, which aligns with my standards and takes the guesswork out of shopping for skincare, haircare, and bodycare items.
