First Impressions
We are in the midst of August, and I am so not ready for summer vacation to come to an end. We had a two-week break from sports, and now we are in the throes of football, and I’m already feeling overwhelmed! Though we have twelve days of summer vacay left, I just know they are going to go by faster than I can blink. I’ve even added more hot soaks to my summer bucket list! This month’s Bath Bevy “Out of This World” box arrived in the nick of time to help me cross this goal off my list, and I absolutely loved the contents!
Filled with indulgent, soothing goodies, this subscription never disappoints. After finally checking a few things off my to-do list, I couldn’t wait to soak, unwind, and enjoy some much-needed self-care. Keep reading to see what made this month’s box so amazing!
Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts theme-coordinating tissue paper, a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it all the more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Star Dust Bath Fizzy Dust - Retail Value $10.00
The first item I received was a generously sized bag of Bath Fizzy Dust. This beautiful lavender-colored dust works like a bath bomb, creating colorful swirls of purple and white foam. It has a delicious fruity scent and creates a whole vibe in the tub that is both fun and relaxing! The bag itself is generously sized and contains enough “dust” for multiple baths, which is perfect for a family of four. The kids have been appreciating it even more now that football has started, as it helps soothe their achy muscles and tired bodies after practice!
Aurora Borealis Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8.00
One of our favorite items in this subscription is always the jumbo bath bombs. This month, we received a scent we’ve had before, but instead of giving this one to my kids, I got to enjoy it myself! Scented with eucalyptus and fresh mint, this wild-looking bomb was absolutely gorgeous in the water. Green and purple, it foamed and swirled, creating an incredible scent and even crazier colors! My husband took one look at the bathwater and shook his head, but the great thing about Bath Bevy is that their vibrant colors don’t stain the tub like those from other brands can. This definitely made for an awesome bath experience!
Galaxy Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8.00
The second jumbo bath bomb included in this month’s Bath Bevy box was even more fun than the first! With a fantastic swirl of blue and purple, this cosmic bomb is extremely fizzy and packed with vibrant color. Made with sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, Epsom salts, coconut oil, and fragrance, this tub addition left my skin feeling silky and hydrated. As you can see in the photo, the swirls of color blend together to create a gorgeous deep purple. With its fruity fragrance, this bath bomb made for a wonderfully relaxing bath-time experience.
Starry Night Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $18.00
Sticking with the “Out of This World” theme, we also received a container of whipped soap scrub. This particular version smells amazing, with a delicious blend of blackberry and amber, and creates a wonderfully indulgent exfoliating experience. The sugar scrub is gentle enough for everyday use, yet effective enough to use before shaving or whenever your skin needs a little extra moisture and care. It has quickly become a staple in my summer foot-care routine, and my kids are obsessed with it too! Another fantastic addition to an already amazing box!
Twilight Woods Body Lotion - Retail Value $12.00
The next item we received was a bottle of body lotion. This lotion also stayed true to the August theme, featuring notes of woods, sensual amber, mimosa, vanilla musk, apricot nectar, and berry. With its warm, musky fragrance, this lotion was the perfect finishing touch after a hot soak. I’ve become incredibly fond of the convenient pump mechanism these bottles use, and I really appreciate how hydrating the lotion feels without leaving behind a greasy residue.
Galactic Grape Loofah Soap - Retail Value $10.00
The last item we received was something we hadn’t experienced before! This time, we received a bar of see-through soap poured over a loofah sponge. Filled with glitter and featuring a very fragrant grape scent, this soap is super fun to use. It doesn’t produce quite as much lather as regular soap, but it was definitely a unique and enjoyable addition to the box. And when I say this soap is fragrant, I really mean it! My husband came home from work, walked into the kitchen, and immediately wondered what the strong grape smell was in our house! If grape isn’t your favorite scent, this might not be the soap for you, but my kids absolutely love it!
