First Impressions
One of my favorite things about the IPSY Original subscription is the excitement of discovering a new bag design every month. I’ve been a subscriber for years, and the fun, creative styles—along with the amazing products inside—keep me coming back for more.
To celebrate the arrival of July, we received a lovely yellow-and-white striped canvas bag with a blue interior. Complete with a pair of adorable white sunglasses as the zipper pull, this bag is the definition of summer. Bright, cheerful, and fun, it has already become my new go-to mini makeup bag for my purse. I’m absolutely loving this month’s IPSY bag!
Also included is a product card featuring the “Passport to Play” theme, along with a sneak peek at some of the IPSY Original products. It also includes a QR code for more details about this month’s bag contents and a preview of next month’s highlights!

BENEFIT COSMETICS Play Daze Airy Liquid Blush in Willa - Deluxe Mini - Estimated Value $11.33
One of my favorite makeup brands is Benefit, so this month I decided to treat myself to the pretty-in-pink Play Daze Liquid Blush. I typically use a powder blush, so I was excited to see how this liquid formula would compare.
This soft, neutral rose shade complemented my skin tone beautifully, and I have to say, the formula was incredibly smooth, velvety, and blended seamlessly into my skin. With just a swipe of color on my cheeks, it was effortless to apply, easy to build, and felt amazing on my skin. I officially consider myself a liquid blush convert!
GRACE & STELLA Eye Mask Heroes - FULL SIZE! - Retail Value $7.50
The next item I received was this amazing set of Grace & Stella eye masks. This package includes three pairs, each designed with a different purpose. The pink pair is for moisturizing, the blue pair is for illuminating, and the purple pair is for restoring.
Packed with skincare favorites like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, retinol, and fatty acids, these masks not only feel amazing under your eyes but also help nourish and rejuvenate the delicate under-eye area. One tip we received was to pop them in the fridge before applying for an extra de-puffing boost, but I decided to skip that step. I simply applied them while I went about my morning routine, and when I took them off, my under-eye area looked brighter, smoother, and more refreshed than it had in a long time. These are definitely a new favorite!
GLOGIRL COSMETICS Plumping Lip Oil in Literally - Deluxe Sample - Estimated Value $19.83
The next item I received was a pretty tube of Glogirl Cosmetics Plumping Lip Oil. Infused with rosehip, this nourishing lip oil delivers gorgeous shine and deep hydration while providing a subtle plumping effect.
I took before-and-after photos as I tried it, and I definitely noticed a difference. It created a gentle warming sensation on my lips without becoming uncomfortably hot like some plumping products can. Overall, I really enjoyed this lip oil. It seemed to last longer than most lip glosses, and I loved how soft and hydrated it left my lips feeling.
BLAQ Beyond Hope Rejuvenating Serum - Deluxe Sample - Estimated Value $15.00
Serum is a skincare product I use every day, and this one had everything I look for! It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and contains powerhouse ingredients like retinol, niacinamide, and ectoin. It delivers lasting hydration while creating a smooth, beautiful base for my makeup.
Since it's fragrance-free, it wasn't irritating to my skin, and it left my complexion feeling refreshed and nourished. I'm definitely a big fan!
DIONIS Ocean Mist Goat Milk Hand Cream - Deluxe Sample - Estimated Value $3.63
The last item I received this month was a deluxe sample of Dionis Ocean Mist Goat Milk Hand Cream. This hand cream has a lovely, light ocean-inspired scent and a rich, creamy texture that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy.
I've been applying it every night, and it's already made a noticeable difference in my dry summer hands. My skin feels softer, looks more moisturized, and stays hydrated much longer. I absolutely love it!
Verdict
I love the IPSY Original subscription and always look forward to trying new beauty products. While I definitely have my go-to brands, I’m always excited for the chance to discover something new. This month, I received five fun items that truly elevated my skincare routine and makeup game! I genuinely loved every product and was thoroughly impressed.
