This month's box looked small, but the items inside pack a serious punch. There are quite a few products targeting pollution protection, which is honestly such a K-beauty thing that Western skincare just never really got around to, and I was genuinely pumped when I saw that. Let's get into it.
PinkSeoul Plus is a bi-monthly Korean beauty subscription box curated for your skin type, featuring full-sized products to help you build (or refine) your routine as you go. You can also browse their online store, which is dangerous if you’re easily tempted by shiny new serums.
PinkSeoul offers two subscription types:
- The PinkSeoul Box is $39.95 every two months, with a retail value of over $60.
- The PinkSeoul Plus Box, recommended for subscribers age 35+, is $49.95 every two months with a retail value of over $80.
Each one ships every other month and includes at least four full-sized items plus an accessory.
This review is of the Combination Skin Type PinkSeoul Plus Box, which costs $49.95 every two months.

What’s Inside
Skinfood Acorn Pore Peptide Pad – Retail Value $21.70
I'm a big fan of the Carrot Water Pads, so seeing an acorn peptide version had me genuinely excited. The star ingredient here is Jirisan acorn extract, which is credited with minimizing pore appearance. Now, do I think pores actually "tighten"? That's a bit of a stretch. But do they look smaller with consistent use? Possibly, yes.
My favorite hack: use the embossed side for a gentle exfoliation, then flip to the smooth side for toning, or split them down the middle to use as tiny sheet masks.
Vitamasque Super Bamboo Light Day Cream – Retail Value $9.97
This is the first time I’m seeing this product or brand. Overall, it is a very lightweight moisturizer. It's marketed as an anti-pollution cream, which is low-key one of the most underrated skincare concerns out there, especially if you're commuting in a city every day. Nothing groundbreaking, but it does its job without making a fuss about it.
Mixsoon Bean Essence – Retail Value $35
Okay, let's talk about this one. It went completely viral, everyone and their mom raves about it, and I get it, but I also want to be real with you. It's a great essence. I do think it helps with hydration, radiance, and overall skin texture over time. But it's not going to flip your skin upside down in a week, and anyone telling you otherwise is overselling it. It's a good add-on, not a miracle. Go in with the right expectations and you'll love it.
Leaders Green Collagen Eye Cream – Retail Value $17.99
The tube on this thing is MASSIVE. Like, I genuinely don't know how long it would take me to finish it. Never tried this brand before, but I'm already kind of obsessed with it. The texture starts as a cream and then kind of melts into a gel on your skin. I've actually been using it in the morning before concealer because it just makes the undereye area look so much more hydrated and even.
Commoncare Hair Ties – Retail Value $9.99
These might be leftover stock; I'm pretty sure Commoncare no longer exists as a brand. But honestly? Still happy to see them. If you're someone who lives in a ponytail (hi, same), these spiral ties are such a relief. They hold well, they don't leave a dent, and they actually stay put through a workout. I'm not complaining.
OOTD Ceramide Care Mask – Retail Value $1.90

What I love about this one is how much serum it comes soaking in. After you pull off the sheet, save whatever's left in the packet because you can easily stretch it into 2-3 more applications. Use it the next morning, pop it under a silicone mask, whatever works for you.
Ample: N Hyaluron Shot Mask – Retail Value $3.15

It's a quick hydration hit, the kind of mask you reach for the night before something important or when your skin just feels off, and you need a fast reset. Nothing fancy, but effective enough that you'll want a whole stack of them on hand.
Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $49.95 bi-monthly
Retail Value: $119.38
Deal: Save 10% off your first box with code MSA10
Not every item in this box is going to make your jaw drop, but it's well-put-together. The Mixsoon Bean Essence alone nearly covers the cost, and the Leaders Eye Cream genuinely surprised me. I'm keeping that one in rotation. The Commoncare hair ties were a nice bonus too. The rest of the picks are good, if a little on the safe side compared to past boxes. But no duds, no fillers. That counts for a lot.
